Well taken Wanya, but Jersey Mike's is not a real life league situation.

Just a brief attitudinal observation from the TV intro, but you're playing away at Stevenage in Jersey Mike's Trophy. So, if your fans turn up to meet you off the coach, you could/should spare more than a cursory walk by and take some time with them. Maybe I'm just being idealistic/naive.

A very classy defender who I seem to remember had Lineker cleaning his boots for him, before he broke into the first team. May and John O'Neill were a very tidy partnership. I was also there for the infamous Chelsea game, I was ten. Glad to see there's people older than me on this forum.

I'd imagine we'll be signing that young Fulham GK in January 🙄

Bosnian fwend for Bristric? 🇧🇦 A few to leave before any incoming I suspect...

Always good to get off the mark, but I hope the people around him keep his feet on the ground, as the quality of the opposition adds context to the goals. A place on the bench may well now be merited, but I'm concerned that a hattie - and wearing the 9 - makes him feel entitled to be first choice striker. That is still Riis imo. Competition is good though, eh?

Lol. Where did I say recruitment was a negative? It just usually takes time for things to gel.

Don't shoot the messenger, I'm just trying to bring balance to this famously forgiving forum. Huge change in playing staff, new coaches and relatively early days in the season. Anyone believe ol' Toustle Martin has what it takes to get us promoted? Is he being judged too quickly by a 'told you so' mentality? Got a feeling I'm going to get well and truly Ed Sheeran-ed here - but I'm currently on a sunny Greek island - so am literally in a good place to take the hate 🤪 Tin hat at the ready ... and GO! 🪖 PS I intended this to be a separate post for positive only replies - but have been integrated into an existing one 😞

Well, I'm not usually one to gossip, but... I know a few tractor boys who claim inside info that he had grown rather close to someone who works there. Wife found out and issued a club or family ultimatum. He chose the latter. All allegedly and heresay obviously.

Levels above us. When he's off the naughty step/back from sabbatical (depends on which story you believe), he'll be straight to a Prem team.

Another 'keeper who can't pass? I think I'll, erm, pass...

If Bristric is staying there and is still late for training, I can see that could be an issue 🤣

Wouldn't they then be still be technically being laced by a Daka?

I heard he's renting Winksy's place 😉

Good to see KDH doing so well. Hopefully an England call-up isn't far away 🙌🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

If he drops Page, Braybrooke or Alves they should fire him before kick-off.

In a lighthearted q&a recently, he said he hadn't come to City because he was "really expensive". He's not coming.

"Learnings" in particular really hacks me off. Naff office buzzword from twenty years ago. Anyway, Up the City 🙌

Only seen snippets of today's interview but again, it feels like he's truly out of his depth and not the leader we need. Players maybe love him, but it's a results business. Fortunately for him, even if he gets fired he won't need to work again. Every loser wins...

I'm more than a little concerned we won't be sold tbh.

Off to see this tomorrow, supposed to be quality in terms of cinematography and sound - plus some decent tunes obvs. Didn't bother with the stadium shows last year, although regret it slightly. Did manage to see them at the Princess Charlotte though, back in the day. Blur, Radiohead and a bunch of others too. Yes I'm very old...

They're really rinsing the heck out of this on the socials ... it's as if there's nothing else positive to talk about 🙄

...and they won't have even thought about a replacement.

The Martin post-match interview is truly gobsmacking. It's fair to say the next lineup will have a far older average age. I suspect we already know the answer as to whether he changes anything about his own approach...
