  1. We also had Allen, Megson and Holloway in one season.
  2. Have any post-match quotes from RVN surfaced yet? I’m genuinely fascinated to know what on earth was in his head with that selection…
  3. You’re absolutely wrong! We’ve become even worse…
  4. I agree that it is difficult to accept that RVN might be doing this of his own volition, but I think that’s what we’re actually seeing…
  5. We have development squad players who could warm the bench just as easily. If we’d agreed with Brighton not to play Facundo, then he wouldn’t be in the squad. And why would we agree to do that anyway? We’ve got a loan agreement in place. What’s in it for us to weaken ourselves unnecessarily just to help Brighton secure a sale?
  6. He’s a troll. Best just to ignore him.
  7. Why is he on the bench then?
  8. Because his team selection was terrible and we look even more chaotic and disorganised than we did under Cooper. We’ve actually regressed, which is extraordinary.
  9. You’ve answered your own question. If we’d agreed not to play him he wouldn’t be on the bench, so clearly that hasn’t happened. What we’re seeing is an insight into RVN’s approach - and it is deeply disturbing.
  10. You lot?! I loved Maresca and was gutted when he left. And it’s clear from your response that you have absolutely no idea why you apparently think RVN would be ‘perfect’ for us if we went down. Which makes your response as stupid as it is sad.
  11. Based on what?
  12. Ruud’s world.
  13. It’s starting to look like Ruud has even less of a game plan that Cooper did, which is actually quite impressive.
  14. Iversen, Winks and Buonanotte are available to him today but he hasn’t picked any of them.
  15. RVN has achieved the extraordinary feat of actually making us worse.
  16. James Justin is an absolute disgrace of a footballer.
  17. Bit of a ‘meh’ game today. Obviously it would be nicer to win than to lose, but it’s not that important and the result won’t have much bearing on our season either way.
  18. ...this is foxestalk
  19. Winks is fit and available.
  20. The former. You should also see my mock 'running down the touchline' celebration when I learn that one of my players has scored or got an assist. It caused a bit of an incident at a children's party a few months ago, but I think it's important show a bit of passion.
  21. Suit. On one occasion I was inspired by Scott Parker to use some white duct tape to add four stripes to the sleeve of an old cardigan, but to be honest it didn't really work so I'm back in my M&S navy blue two-piece.
  22. I wish they'd hurry up - he's in my fantasy team and my pretend press conference is at 11am....
  23. Jeeez. How many of us can honestly say, hand on heart, that we've never drunk-driven a Range Rover on the wrong side of the road? Let him who is without sin cast the first stone, etc....
  24. What makes you think he's a bad egg? He seems reasonably popular among the other players...
  25. The back line clearly needs improving, but the number of shots getting sprayed at us is also partly down to having a completely porous central midfield. If we don't do something about that, we're going to struggle to stay up.
