  1. Or Rudkin sitting in his office talking to himself: "Jon, I can offer you Garcia at Leuven if you want." "No thanks, Jon. But I appreciate the offer." "No problem, Jon." Etc...
  2. Been offered by whom? He already works for King Power...
  3. We can probably only afford an Aldi Ancelotti.
  4. A couple of important points: 1) The Premier League does not determine the punishment. That's decided by an independent panel - and they have shown that they usually award much lower points deductions than the PL wants. 2) We have successfully challenged the PL and the EFL when they've tried to act outside the rules. We can't be punished for that - that would be like a court quashing a conviction on appeal but throwing the accused in jail anyway for the hell of it...
  5. Some believe he's already signed a contract but it hasn't been announced. I'm hoping this isn't the case because if the new manager doesn't want to play Enzoball, Vestergaard could find himself once more surplus to requirements...
  6. The club is just putting out these rumours to soften the blow when Cooper is announced.
  7. Well now then mardy bum, ii’ve seen your frown and it”s like looking down The barrel of a gun…
  8. I like to imagine Rudkin tearfully embracing him in the car park at Seagrave, mumbling between sobs, "Oh my God I thought we'd lost you..."
  9. In which case we may not be able to recruit until well after the season starts, which would not be ideal.
  10. The size of the Adidas logo on some of those 'leaked' kits might tell us something
  11. This is interestIng. He’s a complete liability so it won’t be a loss to Labour, but I wonder what they’ve got on him… Lloyd Russel-Moyle suspended from party and prevented from standing in election
  12. This may well be the case. I'm just curious to know what the source is for the claim that we have already signed him - I've read it a few times but I don't know whether it's definitely true or just a rumour.
  13. If it's just an agreement and is not legally binding, it may not be done after all.
  14. On what basis would you have him?
  15. Fabrizio has focused all his attention on the fact that Enzo has agreed terms with Chelsea and seems to regard the compensation Chelsea have to pay to us as a mere detail to be ironed out. But if they’re trying to push the fee down and we’re digging our feet in, this could drag on…
  16. The club won't go anywhere near Moyes. Maresca was appointed to play a particular style of football, as were Rodgers and Puel before him. Top wants us to play passing football, and we have assembled a squad that is designed to do exactly that. The plan was very much to continue playing that style in the PL. The plan is not going to change just because Enzo is no longer around to implement it - we will 100% be going for another manager who favours possession-based football. Moyes is not that manager so he is almost certain not to be considered.
  17. Did you watch West Brom in their two play-off semifinals against Southampton? They were awful in both.
  18. Do you know what our PSR breach is then? Because I'm pretty sure that hasn't been revealed yet. The '6-15 points' range came from an unknown source cited in the Telegraph - it has not been confirmed anywhere. Whatever we get docked, we should - and will - appeal.
  19. Interestingly, a lot of their fans don’t seem to want him.
  20. Not yet. Presumably Chelsea don’t want to cough up what we want, so it’s dragging on.
  21. They can't increase the deduction if we appeal, only reject it. Why is six points the minimum we could get? Forest got four - do you know for a fact that it's impossible for ours to get as low as that?
  22. As things stand, we're only due one punishment. We can still avoid the second.
  23. We should appeal whatever. Nothing to lose.
  24. They’re all basing it on the Daily Telegraph article, which itself is vague about where that range has come from. It’s incredible that they just keep repeating it when a simple fact check would show that anything more than 12 points is impossible under the rules.
