  1. Alot of people bets are now looking bad....Know why? I did the Germany/Poland double...Everything I bet on loses...Say bye bye to your money's everyone that bet on the double. :@ I know only 24 minutes have gone but I bet on it, simple. It will not win. I'd bet on it
  2. Scolari not to be manager of Chelsea by the end of next season 8/1...hmmmm tempting.
  3. I went on betfair and went on the "To be placed" market, but it was about 2/1 there so requested odds of 5/1 being greedy, surprisingly no-one matched it for me! Oh well
  4. Fuk. Betting? I retire. (Doubt that'll happen though....)
  5. I'm happy with how the Portugal game stands. 1-0. Just hope it stays that way. Portugal scored abit early for my liking though.
  6. :frusty: :frusty: What did I tell you. And I didn't bet on it, Once I had posted the above I was tempted. Bollocks! Oh well had Casual Conquest 2.50 E/W so got something back I suppost. Though Kandahar Run was gonna do it which i'd have been very happy with.
  7. New Approach. Should this really be a race horse? He seems very unstable and has a very weird mind, He won't come up to the course, He needs to be "ponied" out of the paddock, Apparently he acts weirdly before races, and he's been given special dispentation to go up to the start last because again he needs to be "ponied" down to the start. Good horse when I have seen him race but his body language is very weird, I like more horse racing but I don't know too much about it but I have never seen anything like the body language of this horse....You watch him win now! I have a few bets placed for the Derby but really am still unsure who will win.
  8. Might give it a trial run over Euro 2008. I have heard they do work but as you say they work for the larger stake gambler. I gamble a fair bit but I bet with a very small stake.
  9. I've always wondered that, I always presumed 1 point = £1? Or whatever stake you wish to gamble
  10. 10/1 now. The only thing that annoys me with Betfair is minimum stake is 2 pound, I mean 2 pound your not exactly going to miss but I normally like having a few 1 pound bets and having more options open, I even like 50p bets The tight fooker I am!
  11. I suggested a sweepstake at work, and people said "Yeah but if people draw a team they don't want, they'll be moaning they want a better team or they want to change".... Personally I thought that was the idea of a sweepstake, you pick your team randomly out of a hat and your stuck with it.
  12. Correct. Loved the way Sir Alan made the losing team thought they had won all sitting there with smug faces then *BANG* - "You bloody lost...". Now i'm watching Passenger 57 - Think i've seen it before (Not a major film fan so can't remember whether I have or not), so far, so good. And Liz Hurley
  13. Yes. 10pm. Chris Moyles discusses it on a Thursday morning, and I listen to Chris Moyles and heard, BUT i've forgot who it was so it's all good! Plus I watch it to see the people make arse's out of themselves and get a bollocking from Sir Alan!
  14. The Apprentice. A repeat from last Wednesday, they have obviously put it on as a repeat tonight because alot of people like me would have missed it to watch the football.
  15. I bet on betfair on correct score, It had no team just the score, It bet 2-1 so does this mean if either team wins 2-1 i'm in the money? It did have at the top of the screen Man Utd v Chelsea and I bet 2-1 - So if thats the case it would be Man Utd I was betting on (Who I wanted, and planned to be 2-1 to win on) Either way I got 13/1 and had 2 quid on it.
  16. I used to have a Yamaha PW50, loved it, Was really getting into my trail riding, was just about to move up to a bigger bike and then I found out how dangerous the machines were...My dad had an accident, fatal. Not being stupid (Or he never was whenever I or anyone saw him), Just coming back from work, No-one actually knows what happened, but he somehow came of his bike and hit an oncoming car, and had fatal chest injuries, No-one knows why or how he came off. Motorbikes are brilliant, I still love them, Still love watching Motorbike racing, but as cars - their dangerous machines. Loved my little PeeWee.
  17. Stuttgart lost aswell...3-2! Bollocks!
  18. 2nd bet is; B Dortmund v Stuttgart. Stuttgart to win - £2 @ 6/5
  19. Woohoo, I'm off the mark! Boulogne 0 - 1 Grenoble (I think) I've definitely won anyway, £2.40, back of the net!
  20. Also this way you take more notice of your profit. I'm one of these people who always goes for the outsider with big odds but this way you bet on something thats more of a dead cert (Nothings a dead cert) or the favourite and you'll be happy with a little profit and building it up, so this competition is probably a good thing for me!
  21. My first bet; Boulogne V Grenoble Grenoble to win @7/5 In the French League 2. Grenoble are 3rd in the league so going for promotion and could do with winning to keep their place.
  22. Also the Euro 2008, it'll make it abit more interesting too seeing as we have been a failure in that also.
  23. So you mean you put a quid on one match, you win and you get 3 quid back, you have to put all the winnings on the next bet? Or could you bet a quid every bet?
  24. Erm maybe, I'll probably be bust on the first bet though! Didn't the talking balls forum have a virtual betting game going? That'd be pretty good, not sure how it worked, but sounds like a good idea!
