  1. It's like they're still living in 2016 and think we won the league 5 minutes ago and are still a force and interest to be reckoned with. When they've spent their time owning the club stripping away everything that was LCFC and replacing it with everything KPFC at the same time sticking two fingers up to the match day going fan. All this whilst currying favour with the Leicester Charities to give themselves an acceptable face to the rest of Leicester's none football fans, the nationwide media and Thailand.
  2. Not only does this having to go through Rudkin undermine his authority to act but it adds to the timescale of decision making. I'm convinced it was done by Top to placate the anti Rudkin fans but he's way off with his thinking he he thought that would work. It's laughable Our only hope now is that by some fluke they come up with a manager that all factions of fans can get behind - I'm finding it difficult to think of one. Maybe our best bet is some one from a foreign league that most haven't heard off.
  3. I'm with you.
  4. So all those voting Reform want to see us with military in the Straits of Hormuz and being laughed at and despised by the rest of Europe and beyond as we kow tow to Trump. I guess the Falklands War gave Thatcher another term as PM.
  5. But judging from the media response Reform are now running the Country which is one of the reasons they were able to increase their vote at the expense of the other parties leading up to the election. Turquoise is the new Black
  6. When I worked for a large engineering company we never had this problem each department had it's own budget I remember sourcing and A1 printer and copier using the Development Dept's agreed budget. Of course we had to present a yearly budget for approval but once approved it was ours to spend.
  7. A reason could be they thought it would be enough to quieten the fans.
  8. Especially countries like Japan
  9. Yea but how much freedom does he have. Anyone seen his Job Description, has he still got to go through Rudkin before it gets to Top?
  10. It was like that at the County Council
  11. I don't disagree with the pension age rising but for that to work you need employers willing to take on 'older' people. I was made redundant in my early 50s from a middle management job. Despite applying for hundreds of lesser and similar jobs I never got a single offer and ended up working part time. You can't just randomly change one part of a complex equation without looking at the impact on the other parts. When being parttime employed I was not able to claim a single benefit, and the minimum wage did not exist then because I had some savings. I've not had a decent holiday and certainly not abroad for 10 years now. I'm not moaning about it as I said in another post I think I've lived in a good era I'm just trying to show that the cap doesn't always fit. Why should people put some money aside only for it to be taken away because they've got 'too much' So many people look at the headlines in all areas and assume that is the norm. Anyway it wont be solved on here there's better minds out there that have not come up with a tolerable solution.
  12. It's more complicated than that it depends on how those savings were accumulated. If you punish people for being frugal and choosing to save rather than spend, spend, spend then that will eventually harm the economy. Savings are good for Investments, Government Borrowings and overall Financial Stability of the Country
  13. Muzzy, Lennon and Gibson were better, more consistent and for a longer time.
  14. Which part of the basic £184 a week are you planning to cut. Even with additional bits that I've contributed to it only comes to £324 ish The National Minimum wage is £12.71 for a 35hr week that is £444
  15. I've proved I can't judge a book by it's cover.
  16. Reform is just Tory's under a different name, badge and colour so hardly a big difference. some may say the architects of the chief policy of Reform, Immigration. Just s devil, if you don't like the Torys in disguise.
  17. We had a similar situation although seemingly nots so big with the Social Democratic Party, the famous 5 they eventually merged with the Liberal Partly to become the Lib Dems. The Tory Reform Party (TRP) maybe.
  18. Maybe we need to fall before we can rise again. Empires have tended to eventually fall perhaps the West's time has come and will be replaced the East. A period of global dictatorship followed by their collapse: decades or centuries even before it swings back. I feel fortunate to have lived through a time of great technical and scientific development that has improved life for many without fear of control. A relatively peaceful time. Admittedly having unknowingly or blindly ****ed up the environment. Sadly I can't see things getting better as there's a growing selfishness now as the difficulty of halting the environmental catastrophe is showing. I think I need to sign out of this it's depressing me I'll look at the football news. Oh wait is there anything good to look at?
  19. As I said in another post attach it to a pre-season glamour (hard to find) event at the KP so we end up with a double header then you can make a big event out of it people will come to one or the other so you're covered interest wise. 2016 Legends v Star team 60min 2026/27 team with academy and new signings v a glamour side. Chuck in a few extra events out side, fan's zone, new kit stall, new food and drink options, player signings. You could even make the Foundation thing voluntary with a load of collectors outside perhaps get a 'cheap' Vichai Foundation badge. Where's the imagination?
  20. I think that's true of the others as well. It's all just headline reading and unfortunately the majority of the head lines are right wing driven. Once it was nuanced now we're moving into Trump territory where it's just blatant misinformation and lies.
  21. There's always been biggish swings at local and parliament elections with the occasional flourish from the Libs/Lib Dems. In the past you were limited to two or three 10, 15, 30 min tv / radio news broadcasts and the morning and evening newspapers Now e have the wider availability news outlets with 24hr tv / video news with dedicated right wing channels, social media and the newspapers (propaganda voices) which has helped minority parties to grab a foothold and the ability to make big inroads., The country is driven and besotted by personality and charisma of which Starmer has none. We're awash with 'famous for 5 minutes' people from 'influencers' and ex contestants of reality, often totally unreal tv shows. What I'm finding hard to understand is how the leading lights of Reform are nearly all ex-Tory's. I've just watched Nadine Dorries saying how they've beaten Labour and the Torys - are people just blind or do they come across differently and not ex-Tory locally. I also believe they've been helped enormously by how they've been at the top of most media political reporting in spite of their minimal representation in Parliament and locally.
  22. Leicester City Football Club Be there with our 2016 heroes on 30 May Subliminal message that they've chosen a picture with Fuchs and Huth with the trophy?
