Safe Standing - Support the Early Day motion

Very good news, a bit of newfound respect for Man City there. The article's title annoys me though. "Bring back safe standing", another who've made the classic mistake. -

Really? If that's true, that's excellent news. Probably the best news LCFC could hope for (from my point of view). -
They'd go and beat us 4-2.
-
Good gracious.
-
Actually love Ajax Their fanbase is probably one of, if not my favourite.
-
Debatable. Didn't catch on as much as we hoped but it did more than it ever has done and I think if we sing it at a few more it'll catch on eventually. If I'm honest, it's a sad state, but the best way of songs catching on nowadays are if they're started by Jobber.

The only argument I can see against it is cost, and even that shouldn't be significant but I've got no doubt Leicester would have some more stupid plans like a fair ground and "winter wonderland" and all that kind of crap before this kind of thing is even considered. -

I agree but I still think it'd have been good to have someone big name locally on side. Typical that she didn't win anyways, that's a blow. Don't bite to Leicesterpool, the amount of shite he puts on this site is becoming worrying. -
Got to be the only way is Schlupp for me Not a fan in the slightest of that Vardy one sadly.

How likely is she to win, do you know? -
They are Barrow fans indeed, that vid is quality but don't bother singing that it'd be embarrassing. Something to the tune wouldn't be a bad shout at all though. Liking that Drinkwater one.

Nailed it yet again and I think this emphasises my belief that our support is beginning to reflect the club's mentality. We were crap again on Tuesday, it's reached an all-time low for me, we've been consistently dire for months now, it's an absolute joke.

Good song but fvck nicking Stoke's anthem.
-
Hopefully be near you Gaz, me and Shawn are more than up for that song.

1. Spot on. 2. Agreed again, it's dreadful and embarrassing, I'd laugh if either of the 3 named sung anything including us. 3. 100000000000000% this. Really is one of the cringeworthy, most pathetic "chants" on earth and any fanbase singing it are tinpot unless it's the likes of Man Utd who do actually have a rivalry with them. Leeds don't hate us and never will (unless we go all Millwall on them), it just fuels their ego which is what people seem to hate about them so much, why people don't realise this is beyond me. 4. Agreed again to be fair. They're laughably bad away from home. 5. Yet again agreed with that and it's about time there's a proper effort, I'm up for doing it at Watford and I'll try with my mate as well. I should've just saved myself the effort and put "agreed with every word" but I can't resist stressing some things. Have a +1.

Thought the atmosphere was no better than ours. It was superb when they sang after their goal but that's nothing out of the ordinary.
-
Why do so many clubs use that against us including ones who have them as well. I actually thought Brighton away was extremely bland. Thought the ground wasn't awful for a modern but nothing special, nowhere near grounds like Palace, Forest etc... add to that they've got the worst located ground I have EVER been to. Can sympathise with pricing though. That's pretty disgraceful, we did it to Doncaster that time we made it £6 for home fans and kept it £26 for away, the funniest part was we had them away last day and we're expecting a big price as payback but they actually cut it to £15
-
I'd love it more if I didn't always miss our "day". I actually rate their away support.

Will e-mail mine tomorrow. -
So do we, that they're a bunch of cvnts. Aye that was ridiculous to that Barnsley fan, I thought he made some very valid points, he made constructive criticism which I can actually accept, rather than fans of no-mark clubs like Hull & Bristol City coming on and giving it the big time, embarrassed for the lot of them. Chelsea can do one too. Absolutely despise every single thing about that club. As for Birmingham I'm aware they've got teams on their doorstep but when it comes to numbers they have absolutely no leg to stand on what so ever. I actually don't mind them but Jesus Christ that made for embarrassing reading.
-
Blackpool are another one, them, Bristol & Hull all seem to have something against us (Hull I can see why more than the others). It's very weird.
-
Does anyone else spot the irony in the fact they're using things like "we've been in this league longer than them" (as if that's an achievement lol) and then saying we're in the shadow of Forest/Derby, even though we came comfortably above both last year and it's looking like we will again. Bristol City, just wow. They really do have one of the most twattish fanbases I have ever come across.
-
Why can people in the south not distinguish the difference between the north and the Midlands? Seriously I have never been genuinely called a southerner by anyone from up north yet I'd say the majority of southerners call me northern.
-
It's an interesting thread about their support. Them and Hull have absolutely laughable support when you consider the sizes of the place and the fact there's actually **** all near either of them too.
