  1. Purely down to location I'd guess but I fail to believe that if it's hosted in Leicester, then we wouldn't send a representative. So we know 21 teams back it, Middlesbrough don't, who are these other two? According to dcfc_flagman (one of the main safe standing campaigners), Leicester City are in favour of it.
  2. I find the fact they oppose it to be outright ridiculous and contradictory to everything they stand for - correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't a lot of their role uncovering the truth that a lot of it was down to the police? If they oppose it for other reasons (I'm still searching for a valid one...) then that's their call, but if they oppose it because of the Hillsbrough disaster then I find that to be very sad.
  3. I don't actually think Bayern will adopt the exact same style. They won't have two players like Xavi/Iniesta there, they'll have players with about as much ability but not necessarily in the style of them pair. I definitely think he plans on using Gotze in a Messi-like role though and I think Gotze isn't as good as Messi, but he won't be far off, phenomenal talent. You've got to ask where it leaves the likes of Mandzukic, Gomez & Pizarro who are all scoring for fun. Surely none of them will fit in the style Guardiola wants to use? I'm going to make a prediction, most likely wrong. Mario Gomez to Arsenal.
  4. I agree and think it's a shame that what was known as the real competitive league of Western Europe is now arguably the most one sided of the lot. But, they haven't broken any rules. I can't stand buy-out clauses myself though. If I was manager I'd refuse to give any player one in their contract - what does it really show? They'll jump if someone offers enough? Fvck that. The good thing about Dortmund is that they'll go and replace him for under £10mil and he'll probably end up about as good. Although I do wonder if they'll go for Isco.
  5. Rang again today, answered immediately and apparently it got paid in today too as there'd been a technical fault.
  6. It's shocking. I've always just done what they said and hoped I'd have as little contact with them as possible and that's generally been the case, but they really are cvnts at times, absolutely appalling service because they know they can get away with it. I was referred to InTraining, which is a work programme (if you've heard of that before) and I had an adviser there I wasn't overly keen on. I got moved to a new adviser however and I really got on with her, got me further than the other one did in far less time, but I was told I would be moved back to my old one. However, my old one didn't get in contact for a month and in that month I got my job at the Council, I rang my old adviser (who I liked) and told her, do you think that's got anything to do with it? I'd like to hope it's just a technical fault (as these incompetent arseholes will be fvcked off sharpish) but if I'm not entitled to any money whilst I'm waiting for a job to start then that's an absolute joke IMO.
  7. Right, here's a question then. I've been unemployed for a pretty long time now and on JSA. However I've recently had a successful interview for working at the City Council on an apprenticeship, I'll be working in the Financial department. However, I haven't started yet, and won't be starting until May time. Until then, I was considering looking at possibly a temporary job (although doubt I'd get one) so I could still apply for Jobseekers. However, I wasn't paid last week. I rang them up on Thursday last week (I was meant to be paid on Weds) and they said they would get back in contact with me about it later in that day. Sure enough, no call. I rang them again on Friday, and again yesterday, and again today and only today did I get through to them again, and I was cut off in seconds. The service is well and truly appalling. But does anyone know why my money might have stopped? I haven't told the Jobcentre but I have told my adviser on the work programme, so that may be why my money has stopped? I still personally think it's a bit poor. OK, they could argue I'm not a Jobseeker (but I am if you get me, with that temporary job), if I've got a job lined up and don't start yet, what the hell am I meant to do money wise? I'm meant to be signing on again on Friday, but I'm not even sure I'm meant to be going in now. What the hell do I do?
  8. Because there's no point researching something that'll never happen (apparently). If that's the attitude of our so called disgruntled fans then we've got no chance.
  9. To be fair, this new FCC thing shows that they may actually be willing to listen. EDIT; Just read the last page. Embarrassing stuff. Very disappointing if you're not on the wind-up as you've come across as someone who seems to be disillusioned with football of today, a lot like myself.
  10. I think the amount who are so ignorant on the subject really is amazing. Got a bit of info for you lot anyway. Heard from a very good source that Leicester City actually back safe standing, but are waiting for it to be legal for them to publicly announce it. In other words they'll support it if the legislation changes but won't be taking steps to change that legislation. If the fans made our voices heard on it, we're onto something.
  11. Those lot were clearly on the wind up today, two of them actually burst out laughing mid-conversation. Tempted to do it myself next week.
  12. 1:00 in. Danny Danny Danny Drinkwateeeeeer, Drinkwateeeeer, Drinkwateeeeeer. Apologies for the incredibly cheesy video. Thought that was very catchy though, no idea how I came across this
  13. I agree with that fully, to be fair.
  14. 2/1 for 9 games is appalling
  15. Watch the other 17 come in.
  16. 91st minute - I tweet saying I hope they don't nick a draw out of spite. Finishes 3-3. They can fvcking do one. Absolute joke.
  17. Portugal can fvcking burn. I've gone and had an 18 fold of what I thought to be bankers and unless they turn a 3-1 deficit at Israel into a win in the last 20 minutes, then it's gone after one game. 3-2
  18. Sloop John B does my head in and "does what he wants" is fvcking atrocious.
  19. Sings this every single journey, it's class I actually really rate the song too, would happily help that catch on.
  20. One for Saturday. Chopra Chopra Chopraaaaa He's going into the bookies todaaaay All the stick that he'll get When he loses his bet 'Cause he's pissed all his money awaaaaay
  21. Kitchandro nailed it. It should be but the general ignorance and awful attitude towards it just means it'll be bent in their favour.
  22. That doesn't excuse lack of common sense and I fail to believe for one second that end hasn't been full before. Peterborough deserve slamming but they'll get away with it just like Norwich did for the opposite wrong.
  23. Very sad but very true really considering their general attitude and people's general ignorance towards safe standing. Sad sad scenario.
  24. That isn't the point though. Anyone who's been refused entry, that IS a disgrace and I fully sympathise with anyone who had to go through that. But comparing it to Hillsborough? Really? Embarrassing.
  25. It was beyond a joke, every week I sit here in relief thinking thank fvck we don't share our phone-in like the Sheffield clubs for example, it's pathetic - when did everyone turn so soft? Fvcking hell. It was abysmal organising and Peterborough's shocking treatment as regards to not letting fans in shouldn't be swept under the carpet, but some of the stuff on there was a complete joke.
