Well yeah because I'd rather sign a RB and winger early on as opposed to a CB first and then waiting til the end of the window for the other two.

Quite clearly his confidence is affected and the lack of an alternative option has worked against him. That pass he gave back to Coady is just basic but he's messed that up. And trying audacious crosses like Alexander-Arnold does is just naive. Needs a break out the team indeed. He's not offering anything worthwhile to the team currently.

He's doing well! Having Winks next to him definitely helps. He seems a lot more confident on the ball these days, and doesn't lose possession as regularly as he used to.
