TheLittleBigMan Posted 30 May 2015 Share Posted 30 May 2015 It's a herding pen for forest fans, we get to prod them at half time. Adds to the match day experience - "pie and a prod".

Rob1742 Posted 3 June 2015 Share Posted 3 June 2015 There needs to be a fans village built. Various food stalls selling different types of food, burgers, noodle bar etc etc. Needs to be something more than burgers, so it brings in the people that stop for something decent to eat on the way to the ground. Then there needs to be beer tents, but of a quality that has Sky TV so people can watch the game that is on prior to our game. Again needs to be decent, plenty of staff, with staff to clean up so it encourages the fans who drink in the pubs beforehand to come. Various stalls, similar to that of Burnley away, to encourage people to spend their money, encourage them to come. As well as club shop merchandise to encourage a quick impulse purchase of a shirt or scarf etc when people are eating drinking. It would need seats as well as standing, and the big win will be to have a band playing afterwards to again keep people at the ground for a few hours after. I don't know the figure obviously, but you would think that the majority of money spent on s match day by fans (excluding ticket), is spent away from the ground. They have the audience, it's just about creating the environment for people to come earlier and leave later. We have just had a £70m pay day. It would be well worth investing in this as they could well create a new experience for the football supporter that could be recreated across the UK. Would need to be of a quality, so supporters treat it as such. Also would need to be sizeable and customer friendly.
