stevelcfc Posted 27 May 2015 Posted 27 May 2015 Isn't the river the other side of the stadium? No, Wasyl moved it.
Collymore Posted 27 May 2015 Posted 27 May 2015 The area around the ground does need redevelopment. I wonder if they could ferry people in and out of the ground via boats? The Soar runs north to Birstall area and south towards Fosse Park. That would help with parking around the ground.
sk1-fox-rou Posted 27 May 2015 Posted 27 May 2015 Well if the Club wants to build some boats out of wood i Noah guy
David Hankey Posted 27 May 2015 Posted 27 May 2015 Anybody know what's happening to the flattened waste ground next to the KP on Raw Dykes Road? Multistory carpark?

Catch it in birstall/fosse park and rave all the way to the KP.
Wymsey Posted 27 May 2015 Posted 27 May 2015 It's a pity that there's a rather large electricity pylon base just across the road; more of an eyesore than the student flats where the old ground used to be.

As posted above the Bede Island developers were supposed to do something about them as well as building a bridge as part of their planning permission.
Woollett's Wellies Posted 28 May 2015 Posted 28 May 2015 Anybody know what's happening to the flattened waste ground next to the KP on Raw Dykes Road? Multistory carpark? Giant 'clapper' factory?
Wymsey Posted 28 May 2015 Posted 28 May 2015 As posted above the Bede Island developers were supposed to do something about them as well as building a bridge as part of their planning permission. Can't imagine that happening, due to possible fears over fans chucking rubbish under the bridge dangering species/wildlife etc.
davieG Posted 28 May 2015 Posted 28 May 2015 Can't imagine that happening, due to possible fears over fans chucking rubbish under the bridge dangering species/wildlife etc. I believe it was before the Stadium got approval anyway.
thybluefox Posted 28 May 2015 Posted 28 May 2015 I'm pretty sure that the Hotel was built on the proviso that the substation would be moved underground though.
davieG Posted 28 May 2015 Posted 28 May 2015 I'm pretty sure that the Hotel was built on the proviso that the substation would be moved underground though. It was the Bede island development.

SpacedX Posted 29 May 2015 Posted 29 May 2015 I heard Coventry are building a 7000 all seater there to accommodate their entire fanbase. Room for 3,000 visiting supporters then.
