kane Posted 26 May 2015 Posted 26 May 2015 has anyone else heard lcfc are purchasing the land next to the ground to redevelop and also making a players village and putting a bridge across the river .
StanSP Posted 26 May 2015 Posted 26 May 2015 I'm glad the bridge goes across the river, not under it. That wouldn't work.
Unabomber Posted 26 May 2015 Posted 26 May 2015 **** sake I was planning on setting up a little boat that was gonna take folk across for like £3 now if there is a bridge by business is dead. that would be a tunnel
Guest seanfox778 Posted 26 May 2015 Posted 26 May 2015 A players village? I hope it's like The Shire in Lord of the Rings
Rincewind Posted 26 May 2015 Posted 26 May 2015 Why do they need a bridge? Pearson can walk across the water.
Livid Posted 26 May 2015 Posted 26 May 2015 Drove past on Monday and noticed the ground at the back of the East stand car park was up for sale. Not sure what they would do with it.

Fans village, bars, restaurants, take aways ect, big screen for early kick offs and a small petting zoo of X factor losers for the children.
st albans fox Posted 26 May 2015 Posted 26 May 2015 Drove past on Monday and noticed the ground at the back of the East stand car park was up for sale. Not sure what they would do with it. I think that's already been bought. It was up for sale. Surely if the club were interested it would never have got to that stage. seems off to develop across the river when there was perfectly good land available on the other side without the need for bridges etc?
davieG Posted 26 May 2015 Posted 26 May 2015 The bridge is supposed to be built by the housing developers of Beds Island as part of their planning permission they were also supposed to do something about the pylons. I suspect nothing will happen just like lcfc were supposed to have a 'bussing' scheme. As St Albans says the land was sold at auction months ago, not sure who bought it though.

glenelgfox Posted 26 May 2015 Posted 26 May 2015 They could put flags in where opponents shots land ! I wouldn't rule Schlupp out of that competition!
AyewJoking Posted 27 May 2015 Posted 27 May 2015 We're signing George Boyd from Burnley and he needs somewhere to keep all his trophies.
