Matt Posted 3 September 2005 Posted 3 September 2005 Its cool and I want it, but personal getting autographs is the whole point, wheres the fun in buying something with the band or persons signature on it? For me I like to see the band or person I like to meet the people rather than buy there autographs, its all too easy (and all so very expensive) to buy signature. I saw a stall last week seeling loads of football/music autographs, there was signed piece of paper (Forgot who now) but that was being sold for £30 I want to see and meet Kasabian so I think i'll give this one a miss and hope to meet them at Leicester games (or some other way) in the future
cisono Posted 3 September 2005 Posted 3 September 2005 Cool, it fetched 26 pounds. Did any of you buy it in the end?

Matt Posted 3 September 2005 Posted 3 September 2005 it wasn't actually signed though was it? just says it's a Leicester shirt with Kasabian on the back but it's for a good cause!! Oh just looked and your correct it wasn't signed, so as you said for a good cause but whats the point? You could easily go into the club shop and get Kasabian put on your shirt... Anyway as you said all for a good cause but I would buy a shirt (Signed or unsigned) for £26, i'd rather just give £1/£2 to the charity, and the good cause would probably raise more money that way! Its a nice off and a good cause and people can do there own thing with there own money but just a personal view.

I guess the merchandising thing works for those people who are lazy and would not otherwise contribute and may need some "motivation" to do their bit! Obviously, you are not one of them!
rossporterlc Posted 4 September 2005 Posted 4 September 2005 claims to be the new shirt , £26 is a rip off
Jay Posted 4 September 2005 Posted 4 September 2005 it may be a rip off but it's not as bad as this!!!! £5.50 for a signed Jimmy Carr Photo NOW that is a rip off!!!

Matt Posted 4 September 2005 Posted 4 September 2005 Jimmy Carr is an arse. I do laugh at the odd jokes he makes but alot of his joke are really distasteful(<--- Is that a word? )

Anish Posted 4 September 2005 Posted 4 September 2005 Something that I've just noticed - why is it that whenever somebody tries to 'quote' Alex[ikokopops] the quotes always goes wrong (like Ross above)?
