lookwhaticando Posted 6 September 2005 Share Posted 6 September 2005 He's the one who scored a cracker against Arsenal last season, IIRC The goal was class (and against Arsenal which helped ) but I haven't seen enough of him to know if he's good or not
natas Posted 6 September 2005 Share Posted 6 September 2005 Ya, it was a nice goal, other then that though, I don't think he's that great, didn't really impress me with anything else he did for Liverpool. Still, he might be useful for a loan sometime in the future, if everything starts going crud in a striking sense.
SystonFox Posted 6 September 2005 Share Posted 6 September 2005 yeah that goal to beat the arse in the 93rd minute with the virtually the last kick of the game was amazing, i even celebrated it? but as said, other than that he hasnt really had a chance up there so maybe he would be a good loan signing for somebody. who knows. wirralsimon Posted 6 September 2005 Share Posted 6 September 2005 Speaking to the Liverpool Fans in the office, (I work in Liverpool) the general feeling is he isn't quite good enough for a team in the top half of the premiership, but his attitude can't be faulted. From what I have seen I agree with them. I think he is more than good enough for the championship, and would be an excellent signing. I think he is long term injured at the moment though. wirralsimon Posted 6 September 2005 Share Posted 6 September 2005 Crocodile Dundee could throw a tin of beans quite far, but would Australia want him in their cricket team? Liverpool did have Sean Dundee, who was aguably one of their worst signings ever. They would probably have been better off with Crocodile Dundee
marko Posted 6 September 2005 Share Posted 6 September 2005 He was on loan at West Ham a couple of seasons ago and didn't do much at all.

Alexikokopops Posted 6 September 2005 Share Posted 6 September 2005 Crocodile Dundee could throw a tin of beans quite far, but would Australia want him in their cricket team? There's more to cricket than throwing Anyway, he's shit hot in the Championship on Footy Manager (for my Leicester team anyway), we all know that NEVER lies. Scow Posted 6 September 2005 Share Posted 6 September 2005 Can't say I've been too impressed with him. He does seem a fairly clinical finisher, but lacks pace. He's neither a useful targetman or someone to get in behind a defence.
