RizLCFC Posted 21 September 2015 Author Posted 21 September 2015 Your not fooling anyone wearing an expensive fake watch . What's up with a normal watch in your own price range? Brands don't mean anything. Find a watch you like the look of and buy it. I love my watches but wouldn't want anything above £200 because i'd only lose it/scratch it/break it after a while. Ain't trying to fool anyone mate, if someone asked whether my watch was fake or real, I'd be honest. I have taken your approach up until now buying nice watches in my price range, now I fancy something different, simple as that really.
AndyElZorro Posted 21 September 2015 Posted 21 September 2015 Both are honest and reliable. No BS. You won't get ripped off. I have used them many times to purchase clones of my real timepieces so that I don't lose the originals during travel etc. If you go with a Swiss movement these things are out of this world - especially the Pateks and some of the Rollies.

AndyElZorro Posted 21 September 2015 Posted 21 September 2015 Any reliable websites? Should have realized the links violated board policy. Sorry Webbo. PM function used per suggestion.
Merging Cultures Posted 21 September 2015 Posted 21 September 2015 Buy a used watch from eBay. I got a nice longines. I'd love an old omega.
Rob1742 Posted 22 September 2015 Posted 22 September 2015 One thing for sure, values of certain watches have increased massively over the last decade or so. About 15 years ago the Cartier Santos was the watch to have. About £1800 they were. Well over £4000 now.
Crinklyfox Posted 22 September 2015 Posted 22 September 2015 Another option is to check local auctions, especially those that auction goods from house clearances. You can sometimes pick up a good quality second hand watch for much lower than market price. Most publish catalogues of lots to be auctioned on-line before the date.
