RizLCFC Posted 18 September 2015 Posted 18 September 2015 Anyone know any decent websites where you can buy fake watches? I'm after a Breitling.
Webbo Posted 18 September 2015 Posted 18 September 2015 I bought a really good Breitling Montbrilliant a few years ago. Cost me £80. Can't remember the site though, Chinese obviously. If you google fake breitling there's loads of sites.
Rocket-Ron Posted 18 September 2015 Posted 18 September 2015 why buy a fake watch? Who you trying to impress??
Webbo Posted 18 September 2015 Posted 18 September 2015 why buy a fake watch? Who you trying to impress?? Because they look nice.
RizLCFC Posted 18 September 2015 Author Posted 18 September 2015 Because they look nice. Yep and I couldn't afford a new decent Breitling!
purpleronnie Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 Breitling? really? Look awful to me. Maybe there are some better looking ones, the ones I see look like some awful footballers watch all show no style.
Rincewind Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 Not heard of the name tbh. I don't wear a watch now. They irritate my skin. I was never into showing off. A watch is a watch. As long as it kept time I was not too bothered about what it looked like. I was never a poser either. No offense to posers.

Guest MattP Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 Best thing about working at Goldsmiths was you could buy a watch at cost after three years. People on 13k a year sat there with 5k watches on, great stuff.
Rincewind Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 What was cost price? All watches are basically made the same way. I am not saying the expensive ones do not have better workmanship just they all work the same way with cogs etc.as parts. The cheaper ones would have a production line, the dearer ones indivually made. Am I right?

That's ten years ago though.

Still around £1.700 then. Not bad for quality but I would always be afraid of losing it or it being broken. I never mixed with the crowd that would ntoice me wearing a quality watch or appreciate it. Has a girl ever said I love your watch so much I will let you make love to me?
Jattdogg Posted 20 September 2015 Posted 20 September 2015 Has a girl ever said I love your watch so much I will let you make love to me? . The same applies to clothes, shoes etc. Only the kind you dont want to bring home to mommy and daddy would say yes to your question.

It's not the watch Ken it's the money. Cmon boyo you're not that naive, stop acting it.
Rob1742 Posted 20 September 2015 Posted 20 September 2015 I have a Hubot and my mate has a fake one. Comparing the two, the fake is absolutely fantastic. To top it off, mine loses a minute a month, whereas his is bang on. His is over a year old now and still perfect. Don't like to say it, but the fakes are spot on.

Webbo Posted 20 September 2015 Posted 20 September 2015 You can own nice things because you like then yourself rather than just to show off.
Guest MattP Posted 20 September 2015 Posted 20 September 2015 Do people actually think people buy nice clothes, watches etc to get a girl to notice them? Jesus.
Rincewind Posted 20 September 2015 Posted 20 September 2015 I have no doubt that there are some people that do things thinking it will impress others. It is part of human nature.
Carl the Llama Posted 20 September 2015 Posted 20 September 2015 Do people actually think people buy nice clothes, watches etc to get a girl people to notice them? Jesus. I know, it's pretty sad. Worse yet, people get angry when politicians don't do as said above.
Christoph Posted 20 September 2015 Posted 20 September 2015 Your not fooling anyone wearing an expensive fake watch . What's up with a normal watch in your own price range? Brands don't mean anything. Find a watch you like the look of and buy it. I love my watches but wouldn't want anything above £200 because i'd only lose it/scratch it/break it after a while.
