Diego Costa needs some Wasilewski elbow time

Like it or not, he won Chelsea that game with his shithousery.

Mike Dean won that game for Chelsea, How is he so naive to fall for Costa's dirty tactics? He was either in on it (bribed) or totally incompetent, either way the result should be the same Dean shouldn't be allowed near a top flight game ever again. When a player gets fouled grabs the ball and started holding his hand out to the ref in a card giving motion he should be warned if he does it again he should be booked himself.

Its not the players job to try and influence decisions, and say for a minute the foul is a booking and a good Ref has a player giving him the card gesture? He books the player and if it was a close call it makes the ref look weak and as if his decision was influenced by the fouled players stupid antics.

Slag off Costa for getting an Arsenal player sent off...'He is scum' etc.

But Was elbowing Vaughan (Which was far worse than what Costa did) was ok because 'it was funny'.

Personally have nothing against Costa.....Steve Walsh is a club legend, yet he was for more physically abusive to opposition players than what Costa is. He is just like a robbie savage, he plays for your club you love him, everyone else hates him.

Can't see Costa trying it on with Huth, Wes or Was, he only picks on weaker players.

Football authorities are supposed to care about the image of he game. They need to have a very strong word with Costa, because he is clearly a disgraceful role model and bad for the premier league.

Symptomatic of the modern game I'm afraid. Costa is the personification of a pampered, petulant, prima donna prone premiership.

The cure? Get the ****er on a rugby field.

You can say Costa is just a rough & tough nuisance who gambles on getting away with the arms / slaps / stamps / scratches etc but why does the same tough guy then throw himself around at the slightest (or even no) contact, feign injury and demand cards for opponents. I thought he was supposed to be strong and physical? He's a cheat who tries to get fellow pro's into trouble and in Skirtel's case tries to injure them deliberately.

To compare Walshy's behaviour, I don't recall him having that cowardly side to his game, I remember the Steve Bull feud and the famous "Bull-shit" spoken by Bull which left him being proven to be a liar. Yes, Walsh would wind opponents up (I seem to remember Gittens of Swindon, Duncan Ferguson - a wind up merchant himself & many a tunnel brawl) but I don't remember him constantly on his arse crying for referee help in situations where little or nothing had occurred. Maybe that's down to the difference between being a defender or striker (notably he had less discipline problems as a centre forward) but he gave it out and took whereas Costa gives it out and whines instead of taking it back.

I saw Walshy in town 2 days after a game away to Leeds, he had a black-eye, split lip and severe bruising to his face, I enquired, "Chapman?" and he nodded then grinned. He took his "live by the sword, die by the sword" punishment and had not spent the match in the refs face begging for help.

The exception was the Geddis incident, he seriously injured a fellow pro and I don't think anyone would try and justify that.
