Matt Posted 8 September 2005 Posted 8 September 2005 This looks awesome, as I have said in the past i'm not to bothered about phones anymore, a few years ago i'd of bought a new phone every week if it was possible but now I really cannot be bothered but this has really impressed me Its the new phone made by Motorola and apple, and its and iPod (And more) on a mobile, launched yesterday I think.
rossporterlc Posted 8 September 2005 Posted 8 September 2005 same phone as my brothe Hits got a good tennis game on it, bloody hard though
Phil Posted 8 September 2005 Posted 8 September 2005 I have that phone. I use a bluetooth doogle which can be bought off ebay and simply transfer my pictures ringtones etc via that.

The bluetooth dongle is for the PC of course. Me too, use the same system. Works perfectly (with this and any other high-end Sony Ericsson phone).
Alexikokopops Posted 8 September 2005 Posted 8 September 2005 The K750i has infra red, right? Because if it does go on eBay and buy an infrared cable thing so you can transfger stuff between your phone and your computer, that way you can stick anything on your computer on your phone, and means you can stick your photos from your phone onto your computer. That's what I did with my Sony Erikssen T630 (before I broke it by dropping it in my pint), I could even make my own themes with a programme I downloaded. My sister should be getting me my cheap K750i soon (she works for Vodafone, score!!)
Nationwider Posted 8 September 2005 Posted 8 September 2005 Bluetooth receivers for PCs - £12.99 from dabs.com, and about the size of a pen drive. Then you can just get all the free stuff you like off the net and magically transfer it to your K700i.
Guest Posted 9 September 2005 Posted 9 September 2005 Even better upload tracks from cd via Bluetooth to your phone for 'real music' ringtones.

My sister should be getting me my cheap K750i soon (she works for Vodafone, score!!) Why would you want to use infra-red when you can use bluetooth? I haven't looked at the protocols recently, but bluetooth: - is more convenient - it also works with the T630 (which is what I currently have, while waiting fro the K750i) and any bluetooth phone - it works among all bluetooth devices (including other bluetooth phones and other PCs with bluetooth dongles), with no need to move cables around... - it should be faster than infrared - ensures full file transfer (checks) - with infrared, I have had some partial transfer problems in the past (although this was without using cables). The RAC guy had transferred a partial phone number to my phone using infrared... I thought it was a full number. No error messages or anything. Wasted hours trying to reach my car at some unknown garage in the middle of Derbyshire!!! - no messing about with cables - no need to "align" (line of sight) or move around phone or PC or cables - likely cheaper (just the dongle, as Nationwider posted, is cheap); proprietary cables are usually more expensive - Sony Ericsson phones have great support for bluetooth, make the most of it! Nationwider Posted 9 September 2005 Posted 9 September 2005 I've got a K700i and the infra-red is crap. I'm with cisono in that Bluetooth is much, much better. Plus you can Bluejack on the train/bus etc when bored.

I was just speaking from what I did about a year ago, I didn't know if you could get Bluetooth things or not for it. I never had any problems with infrared and I didn't know owt about the bluetooth ones so I went on about infrared. Bluetooth is better, so with this extra knowledge I recommend a bluetooth thingy.
Hitesh Posted 9 September 2005 Author Posted 9 September 2005 Bluetooth is much better! I am currently transfering all my stuff from my T630 to the K700i using bluetooth and its faster than infared. Yeah...i will probably get one of those bluetooth things. I think my dads laptop has infared on it though so i could try that way. Ill jsut have to be patient!
