Dan Posted 7 October 2015 Posted 7 October 2015 Not surprised Clattenburg won. Thought he was the first non-cvnt ref we've had all season.
Carl the Llama Posted 7 October 2015 Posted 7 October 2015 Not surprised Clattenburg won. Thought he was the first non-cvnt ref we've had all season. And here I'm gobsmacked that his performance ranks 1st for the season so far. We clearly saw very different things in Mr "make it up as you go along" Clattenburg. The inconsistency was unbelievable, or it would be if we weren't talking about Premier League referees. Zing.
Guest MattP Posted 7 October 2015 Posted 7 October 2015 Not surprised Clattenburg won. Thought he was the first non-cvnt ref we've had all season. I thought he was awful, he seemed to just get everything wrong, completely missed a clear pen on Schulpp and then gave a dodgy one for Vardy. I think had they equalised after he ruled out Ulloa's he would have been given a shocking rating.

enmac Posted 7 October 2015 Posted 7 October 2015 I realise DR is unpopular, but objectively he deserves more. Or did I miss his mistake? I realise DR is unpopular, but objectively he deserves more. Or did I miss his mistake?Meant DS.
Dan Posted 7 October 2015 Posted 7 October 2015 Surprised at that. I thought Ulloa's was the correct decision personally. It was unlucky for Ulloa as I think he'd have scored even without any contact on the goalkeeper from Huth.
talking_goldfish Posted 8 October 2015 Posted 8 October 2015 Clattenburg was nowhere near the best ref we've had so far! He wasn't terrible but missed a few penalties from corners which definitely should have been given (for us and Norwich). I do agree that the Ulloa disallowed goal was the correct decision, that was a push by Huth, although if he hadn't touched the keeper it was going to be Ulloa's goal anyway. Bet Ulloa had a few words for Huth after! Man of the Match difficult to choose from Vardy or Kanté, but probably just about right. Think Shinji deserves more just for that tackle that led to the second goal.
