  1. How exciting must it be for this team, 4 games to go and the only team that can realistically catch us is 3 points behind AND we have a game in hand! In our final 4 games we play 2 of the teams in the bottom 3, both at home - our next game is against Coventry Utd at home who we beat 9-1 away earlier in the season! If we win both of those games and with our far superior goal difference you'd assume that would be job done. The other 2 games are against mid-table teams (London City Lionesses / Lewes), incidentally London City Lionesses are the only team to beat us so far t
  2. How can you give that as a pen? The ball was pretty much out of play when Kane went down!
  3. Watching Wolves when you want them to win is a chore, but they really should have had at least 1 pen tonight. Refereeing has been shocking!
  4. Will take that result, would have taken the draw before the game too. We weren't at it today so definitely a point gained. Fofana coming on a positive too, hopefully some other players won't be far behind. No complaints from me, just hope Palace do a Burnley and turn into a decent side for 1 night only tonight too.
  5. Dire first half but I doubt Brendan will be too worried, we can't have expelled too much energy in that first half and still got Barnes and Ricardo on the bench. Think we might see a second half like the Brentford game. Or I at least hope we will!
  6. Amartey has been immense today. Think it's there for the taking in the second half. Hope Evans can carry on though, wouldn't want to change that backline half way through the game.
  7. Ha, not off the top of my head! Just looked at some of the injury histories on transfermarkt and just checked a few of the most recent Vardy injuries. Thankfully they haven't yet had any overlapping injury absences, although that's another reason why it is so long ago that we have won without them both.
  8. We beat West Ham on 28th December 2019 where Ndidi only played 20 mins at the end? Nacho and Gray scored both goals before he came on.
  9. Sorry to take this pre-match thread on a tangent but some people on here need to give their head a wobble! Our second choice DM is getting some proper stick for no reason whatsoever. I'm pretty sure no one said Mendy is better than Ndidi because that just isn't true, there were people calling for Mendy to keep Wilf out of the team at the start of the season (but though you may have a short term memory loss) that was because he was playing rather well at the start of the season! Just to jog that memory of yours, in the first 9 games where he played the majority of the match his reco
  10. At least it makes Southgate's job easier.
  11. BIN. This post is not at all reactionary!
  12. Ah well, you have to get used to losing to poor mid table outfits as a Leicester fan.
  13. Just reading some of the stuff from Bielsa's press conference and he really does talk some proper crap. You've got to feel sorry for his translator - to be fair he looks more than impressed in the image taken at this presser..! https://www.leeds-live.co.uk/sport/leeds-united/marcelo-bielsa-every-word-leicester-19727098
  14. Far too much positivity on this forum which hardly ever results in a win! Think this will be a lot tougher than last time, Leeds (on their day) are an excellent team who will press, press, press til the cows come home. They have the best pressing stats for the defensive third, middle third and final third - that's just insane! You would assume therefore that this would be the game where Vardy gets back on his game and gets a goa.. oh. If we catch them on a good day then we'll have to be right at the top of our game and without Ndidi Mnsr Mendy will need to play out of h
  15. ...And in that dream We played like poo, Under lost the ball and Then they scored a goal Because without Albrighton Our right sides got a hole...
  16. Now this today is a proper game, which really could go either way. I've had a quick gander at their forum and they're pretty confident that even without Allan or Doucoure they've got enough to win this, especially as we are without JV. I've also read through the posts on this forum and it would appear we're pretty confident too that even without JV we've got enough to win this, especially as they are without Allan and Doucoure(!) One thing we can all agree on is that this is in the balance and whoever wins it will feel they can go on a run and maybe even cla
  17. Amartey going out on loan to Brentford? Lots of chat with Thomas Frank after the final whistle.
  18. I think the reason is that many medical professionals really want temporary concussion subs so they can properly assess a player without impacting on the game. So you'd have a clash of heads, sub those players straight away so they can be properly assessed and then brought back on after 10 mins or so if cleared to do so. The fear is that if you have an important player who may or may not be concussed then the temptation would be to leave them on without a proper diagnosis by a doctor.
  19. In the main, this is a great idea, although it would surely be an idea for head injuries to have an independent doctor who can do a quick check for concussion before a team decides to make a concussion sub (or not). Without this, as I understand it, with both teams allowed 2 concussion subs during a game and the opposing team allowed to make a substitution at the same time both teams could in theory make 7 (yes, SEVEN) substitutions per game - 3 normal substitutes + 2 concussion subs + 2 subs at the same time as the opposing teams concussion subs! Worse than that we may
  20. Danny Simpson will be on the panel for Sky tonight, which means I may even tune in before kick off.
