Are our fans the loudest in the country?

Liverpool is awful nowadays, I mentioned it last year I don't know if the famous Anfield atmosphere has simply become bad or whether it was just all a myth.

It's pathetic, it was used to seem like it was amazing but in recent years i've realised it's shite.

For the big European nights it always seemed spine tingling (even from the tv) but they can't get up for it week in week out so dont deserve the hype.

I thought the atmosphere was a little subdued for us yesterday, I was putting it down to the fact it was a tense close game.

It was alright at the start and It picked up towards the end though when the team needed it, as Palace came at us.

Generally though I think our atmosphere has been great and that's from an old bugger who used to moan about our atmosphere and look at the Filbert Atreet days through rose tinted glasses.

We mustn't become complacent though.

I do agree with that. Thought it was a bit of an off day for us on the whole, although excellent at the end.

Love to have gone to Anfield when it was standing. Kop must have looked so good. That's where the "hype" comes from, nowadays though it's like 99% of most home grounds, quiet. Plus teams like Liverpool have trouble with day trippers.

I'd say our atmosphere at the moment is surely one of the best in England. Loved the Tifo display last game in the Kop, smart and inspiration. Credit to Union FS too for what they've done in terms of raising the atmosphere, as well as flags and displays etc.
