Mike the Metal Ed Posted 11 November 2015 Posted 11 November 2015 6th seems on the upper boundary of reasonable at the moment. Won't be disappointed with anywhere in the top half, especially if it didn't come at the expense of an FA Cup run.
Renart Posted 11 November 2015 Author Posted 11 November 2015 I will not vote on this until January 1st after I've seen our performances against the "big boys". If we are still in the top four then I will say champions league or top six. I think that you are missing the point... I will run another one after the Christmas fixtures, and we can see whether there is a difference. It is a barometer of expectation/confidence.
shen Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 Our squad looks thin. Obviously injuries to Vardy, Mahrez, Drinkwater, Kanté or Schmeichel would weaken us considerably. But if either Morgan and Huth get injured, we have Was and Benny who are over the hill or inexperienced at this level. Same applies to Moore, De Laet or Chilwell should Ranieri used them in central defense. If either Simpson or Fuchs get injured, it's De Laet and Schlupp in with little to no back up. And with RDL and Jeff, we'll be very exposed on the flanks! Inler, James and King are dependable players, but it would probably mean we have to change our style a bit. In essence, I think we will struggle to keep up and will drop off to around 8th.
