The Quick Brown Fox Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Because we've only played arsenal and Tottenham out the top sides? I think 11th Should we be worried about anyone? We play our game and I think we could stay where we are.
jimmeh Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Should we be worried about anyone? We play our game and I think we could stay where we are. You think we will finish 3rd?
foxes_rule1978 Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Because we've only played arsenal and Tottenham out the top sides? I think 11th So you think we will all of a sudden only average one point per game at best? which is relegation form... we haven't got 26 top four teams to play left...
ZeljkoKalac1 Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Can't believe the amount of people voting for top 4 finish!!.........pull your head out your arses!
Weller in Tights Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 I would love top 6 and yes we could do It. I've chickened out though and gone 7-10th Would really love to eat humble pie on this one
foxes_rule1978 Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Can't believe the amount of people voting for top 4 finish!!.........pull your head out your arses! Not at all, people who said that we would be here in March with Vardy on the verge of breaking records would have been sent to a mental home... the impossible can happen and this team is giving us reasons to believe, aim high
Buce Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Averaging better than two points a game. Averaging better than two goals a game. Joint top with a third of the season gone. This is a title challenge.
The Quick Brown Fox Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 You think we will finish 3rd? Realistically no, but I can't see why not. Utd are not as strong as usual and Chelsea are nowhere at the min. Someone has to be up there and the way we are going why can't it be us?
Spiritwalker Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Obviously a lot depends on what happens in the transfer window but we should be good top for a a top half finish.
Rincewind Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 It seems like I have gone with the majority. I would love us to finish top six but I fear it will only take a run of 4 or more defeats to slip a few places. It depends on who those defeats are against. Who the hell voted relegation?
Fox92 Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Going to be pessimistic, as always, and vote 11th - 14th. Top 7 picks itself then you've got three places available. It's tight. You look at teams such as Southampton, Stoke and Palace who are equally as capable as us. Would absolutely love to see us finish top 10 though. It's not impossible.

I'm a big fan but this bubble will burst (probably Dec looking at the fixtures!) I think we'll finish around mid table and let's be honest, a club of our size, tihs is the target. Be great to have a run in the F.A.Cup........and chase the trophy we've never won.

I can't see how we can finish anything but top 10, we already have 25 points... it would require relegation form to finish outside the top 10, we are far more capable of not going into relegation form but go on a steady run and finish top 10
Sir Shep Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 IF we keep our big players in January and stay relatively injury free then probably 8th I would say.
fuchsntf Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Can't believe the amount of people voting for top 4 finish!!.........pull your head out your arses! No, No, and No again. I am a football fan, and not on a crusade to win money, or prove I am great at guessing.Until it becomes impossible, I will hope and dream that top 4 is possible. I will swing on my thoughts as the season developes. Not every single week, but I will count the points, needed for this or that position and dream on further. If we miss out, and even finish out the top 8 or 10, I have dared to dream, why else would one be a football fan..?? !!. In this run of ours, I just want to enjoy, not predict. Arsenal have lost in past seasons to all their near rivals, and still finished 4th. So think a minute, we have played 12 games, basically a 3rd of the season, so we can lose 4 big games and still carry on picking up good points. The whole roundabout of points for the chasing pack will be shared out, so unless we take a real negative hit in the next 10 games, we will still be in a good postion. Positive vibes man, Positive vibes....

Someone has to be up there and the way we are going why can't it be us? I can't argue with this at all. I look at Man Utd, Tottenham and Liverpool and don't see that much of a difference in quality. With Chelsea being 14 pts behind us as well if at some point in my lifetime we're going to make CL we're not going too have many better opportunities than now. Even Betfair give us about a 5% chance of top four so it's not totally out of the question.

AS78UK Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 We will know a lot more after the next couple of months. When the fixture list came out, everyone knew we had a good run of fixtures till we hit late November. I have gone for 7-10th as I a pessimist at heart. But if we get through the next couple of months holding anything like our current form, then who knows where we could finish. Exciting times...
STEFFIFI Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Rendez-vous next year in Champions' League with Caen
hackneyfox Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 7th or 8th Will inevitably get a few injuries which will halt us. Don't want us to do too much in the transfer window just a couple of positions to be strengthened 7th or 8th for me as well. I don't agree with not doing too much in the transfer window though. There's a couple of positions that have to be strengthened but if we want 6th or 5th, and now is the time when players and their agents want to talk to us, we have to spend and bring in some real quality. I love what we're doing at the moment but if Mahrez or Vardy get injured we'd struggle for goals.

Think you end up paying well over the odds and the new signings habe less of a bedding in period. Agree about the injuries
ceredigion Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 We're in the unknown unknowns territory here. As City fans none of us have ever seen anything quite like this before. It also needs to be borne in mind that this run is a continuation from the beginning of April. Since then we've played 21 PL games and garnered 47 points from a possible 63. That is league-winning form now sustained for over half a season and I doubt if any top-flight team in Europe can compare apart from Celtic in one of Europe's weakest leagues as opposed to one of the strongest. I think we might be able to stay the course. At the moment Liverpool worry me as a threat to our top 4 place.
ScouseFox Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 2nd. arsenal are great and will be better than us all year. think we're best of the rest.
trabuch Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 What is wrong with you people? Why isn't everyone voting for top 4? Don't be "realistic" - just enjoy yourselves.
