i only heard the first 2 songs but i can only really compare them to the notwist style wise, focusing on the music

consequence is a good song by the notwist similar to Glósóli

Agaetis byrjun! Wonderful album! I only to Sigur Ros about once every three/four months... I have to be in the right mood to listen to them, and when I am, I really enjoy their stuff.

The MySpace.com stream of Takk is so tantalizing--I see that link every day but I'm on dial-up.

They're playing Beacon Theater in NYC tonight and tomorrow night and I can't go.

I think Takk is a good album (bought it today and gave it a listen) but I won't go crazy heaping all sorts of praise on it. Several songs on Takk remind me a lot of what some "post-rock" bands are doing (namely Mogwai and Explosions in the Sky), so I wouldn't say it's SR's most original effort. Still worth it, though.
