Lineker's Left Foot Posted 11 September 2005 Posted 11 September 2005 Ok, I would never disrespect other peoples' music tastes (apart from pop idol), BUT why is hip hop got so much attitude ? I say chill Winston !!! I must admit it is funny to see youngsters driving up and down with their cars blasting it out (and I nod my head when walking down the street listening to it in order to take the p*ss). Fair play if it's the music people like, but why the attitude? Personally, I think hip hop is old hat and avant-garde/downtempo/leftfield style music is the way forward e.g. Aphex Twin, Laub, Autechre or Sigur Ros... that is what should be blasting out of dem stereos!!! However, although I think 50cent is called that because he is only half as good as Dollar from the 1980s - I do like Trip Hop (i.e. Tricky or Archive) and adore Roots Manuva or Outkast.
