They certainly deserve something. They've restored our pride, lifted the nation and done it in a way we can all be proud of by playing positive cricket in a hard but fair way. Still can't believe how many people with no previous interest in cricket - including loads of women - suddenly started showing interest. Even my wife watched - cos I was forever having to answer her questions on the rules, the umpires signals and the field placings. .
toonboy Posted 13 September 2005 Posted 13 September 2005 Why give Strauss and Harmison knighthoods but Trescothick and Giles just honours? Give them all MBE/OBE/CBE, maybe except Vaughan who would get the next one up (not sure about what order they are).
