I don't believe length of contracts or pay were decided by Sven.

Both of the above were adored by most on here at the time.

Well yeah Gallagher had a lot more technical ability than we were used to (and a great penalty technique ) and Wellens was a solid foundation to lay our blame on.

Yeah but we ended up with Abe, Wellens, Fernandes, Danns, Moussa, King all as central midfielders.
