Nick the Stats Guy Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 Some of you may read 'The Knowledge', a weekly column on The Guardian's website answering football questions that can really be quite stupid: http://www.theguardian.com/football/series/theknowledge So, why don't we do that here? If you've got a question that you've been pondering, but haven't been able/are too lazy to find an answer, surely someone will be able to help.

Donut Posted 10 March 2016 Posted 10 March 2016 Question that came to me at the game on saturday. Â The Watford defender......... Â Why does he wear Jose Cholevas on his shirt, but listed as Jose Holebas as you read his name everywhere?

Why does he wear Jose Cholevas on his shirt, but listed as Jose Holebas as you read his name everywhere? He's a Greek, and Cholevas is the translation of his name into Greek. It should technically be Iosif, but meh.
Izzy Posted 12 March 2016 Posted 12 March 2016 what leicester squad had the most players with the same first name? Good question. My guess is the 76/77 squad where we had 6 Steve's. Bicknell, Earle, Kember, Sims, Whitworth and Yates
