simFox Posted 15 March 2016 Posted 15 March 2016 The bigger teams seem to suit our tactics, they still have that air of superiority that opens them up at the back when pushing forward. The lesser teams sit deeper and stifle our play. So our run in might not be so great..
Manwell Pablo Posted 15 March 2016 Posted 15 March 2016 If they can win their games in hand I'd be cautious in writing Arsenal and city off completley just yet. Would be a hell of a chase down but I've seen teams turn round bigger deficits.
NotTheMarketLeader Posted 15 March 2016 Posted 15 March 2016 I just don't get this at all. Even predicting results for one week at this stage of the season is perilous, let alone eight matches. There are so many different factors involved. And even the most attacking challengers can be caught not knowing whether to stick or twist if they go in front, leaving them forever vulnerable to an equaliser and perhaps even worse if they have a nervy finish. Ranieri's spot on. Just concentrate on our own performance and our next match. If we keep performing properly - and fighting for the next points towards our target rather than worrying about titles or European slots - the chasers might just run out of time. It can happen so quickly. Who'd believe Arsenal would slip 11 points off the pace so quickly? Or Manchester City? People talk about us being nervous but the real pressure is on those trying to make up the deficit, where any error might well mean "challenge over". Being five points in front, our only thoughts should be on making it more while chalking the next game off. This. Nobody knows what's going to happen, and I would say maybe some people are taking things a bit for granted. It's a long way from done yet ffs!
iLikeFoxes Posted 15 March 2016 Posted 15 March 2016 got to assume the spuds win every game... foolish to predict anything else.Thats dead right. If we get 20 points from 8 matches, it doesn't matter what anyone else will do. It's for the taking.
