I am a Notts County fan and thought it would have been a different way to congratulate you on winning what is the best football achievement the world of football has seen from a minnow since san marino scored against England :)  I've seen a few posts on here over the last few days and thought I would get some banter started. The fact is, you are the best club in England atm and most Notts fans are happy for you as it get's the f word wound up. Good luck to you guys and let's be happy  we was born Notts and Leicester fans instead of f word and cov fans.  good luck for next season and phuck the forest

I was playing along. Notts County are one of the oldest clubs aren't they? They had their glory years a few years back. It will be a shame to see them go altogether. Hopefully Leicester will have a few years in the limelight. Gives hope for all smaller clubs that rely on player's workmanship and passion for the game and the club they play for. Leicester do not have any multi million players but they have players that work together as a team not individuals.

What summed it up for me was when Claudio Ranieri took the players out for a pizza as an award for keeping a clean sheet but surprised them by telling them they had to make their own in the kitchen. Would the likes of Rooney and Ronaldo have gone along with it?

I was at Meadow Lane this season for your encounter with Pompey in October, which you won. Last time I was there was when City played a pre season friendly - in 1995 I think. It amused me how they open the exits in the Swirrell Stand at half time and because there's no concourse, everyone spills out into the street for a fag.

Was also up at your neighbours in Mansfield this season. So although you were founded before anyone else in the league, Field Mill is actually the oldest ground dating back to the 1860s. Facilities were 19th century too. Queued for 50 minutes to get a beer - had one kiosk staffed by two people for the entire away end. Still, at least the only plastic in sight was the empty seating in the home stand. They had the shittest mascot I've ever seen...Sammy Stag. The weight of his antlers meant his head kept falling off. Bizarrely, he was so engrossed in the game that someone came out and bollocked him at half time for not being...mascot enough...so he idled around the perimeter of the ground. probably went out back for a piss then went and sat back on a chair and carried on watching the game. The regular one was probably hung over and they made a desperate call to Pertemps on Saturday lunchtime.

League 2 - complete timewarp, genuine authentic fans, a real education and the football can be highly entertaining.

It was a great post and made me laugh, some of the reactions were hilarious. I was surprised by the amount who thought it was serious. And this 'greatest sporting achievement' talk doesn't half get some of the trees frothing at the mouth lol.

Anyway good on you to come back on and post again rather than thinking we are all a bunch of over sensitive loons. lol.

It was such a ridiculous claim to take other than a wind up. I justed looked at it logically and came to the conclusion that the OP was a disgruntled pissed up Forest supporter. I was just pointing out the many obvious flaws in the claims and was interested in what the response would be so I also was the WUM. I do the same with the creationists and flat Earthers late at night on Twitter. Play them at their own game to see what rubbish they come out with. It is funny seeing them trying to dig out of deeper holes
