I think the way we are set up now helps hugely because he can defend deep and to his strengths but my word he's been a beast in our area this year getting blocks, headers, interceptions, well timed tackles in.

definitely, remember how seemingly out of his depth he was last year with Moore next to him? It's actually quite insane the progression from that point.

I think you've hit the nail on the head as to why he looked so bad without even realising.

It felt like just him at the back at times when Moore played.
