Thracian Posted 25 September 2005 Share Posted 25 September 2005 I have to work saturdays and didn't buy a season ticket I didn't trust what was going to happen so I didn't buy a season ticket. Now, I so enjoy laughing and joking with the Jodie Foster lookalike (and some) who finds me a seat that I wouldn't buy one anyway. She's a real tonic and everything a guy of my advancing years needs to cheer him up whatever the team does.

The People's Hero Posted 25 September 2005 Author Share Posted 25 September 2005 ....I was born a Leicester Fan and will love them whatever. As will I. Just like I love my girlfriend. I just don't particularly 'like' her on rare occasions!

Hullfox Posted 25 September 2005 Share Posted 25 September 2005 Ummm... why? For your earlier comment about not always liking your girlfriend. It's exactly how I feel now about the club. It's nice to read a two line post that gets to the point.
Nationwider Posted 25 September 2005 Share Posted 25 September 2005 ...I don't go to many games these days, as they always lose when I do. It's all my fault.

It's nice to read a two line post that gets to the point. Oh... well umm thanks mate! I get fed up of making salient points about LCFC, some of them a little negative and then being told by some nomark that I clearly don't love the club or have any faith. It's the holier than thou attitude I've been referring to! Still, I thought it was a good comparison, glad you appreciated it.

The People's Hero Posted 25 September 2005 Author Share Posted 25 September 2005 Bit of both probably mate! Still, when it's your passion and you love your club, as I think all of us here do, it's something that if you have the opportunity and finances to do it... you do it. Thracian Posted 25 September 2005 Share Posted 25 September 2005 I'll love em again by the time I sit in the stand Tuesday but it still doesn't make it easier when people do things with the team that don't make sense.

Scow Posted 25 September 2005 Share Posted 25 September 2005 I spend a huge chunk of my income on football, and in the cold light of day, I seriously question why I bother sometimes. I'll support Leicester whatever the situation, but it's frustrating at times, particularly at the moment. Long live the Jase.
