SilverFox Posted 1 September 2004 Author Posted 1 September 2004 Haha Benjamin, Blake and Dublin upfront then!! hahahahahahahaaaaaaaaOh my god, the plot thickens. This is the end of Adams 16350 Benjamin - a taylor signing Dublin - for the money we have who do you want us to sign, because we won't get anyone much better in this division. He will come good Blake - I agree, Unforgivable!
Guest freund Posted 1 September 2004 Posted 1 September 2004 do you know how long he will be out for Silver?
Wellman Posted 1 September 2004 Posted 1 September 2004 im not sure but shouldn't be too long hopefully
Guest freund Posted 1 September 2004 Posted 1 September 2004 so he should be ok for rotherham? thank christ
SilverFox Posted 1 September 2004 Author Posted 1 September 2004 do you know how long he will be out for Silver? 16366 Personally I think it is a stunt by the club so that he doesn't get injured playing for Ireland! He'll be fine! I feel really bad for him though because it can be seen that he is class...just needs the ball played into the box at his feet and he will show you what he can do! This ariel stuff just won't work for Connolly, hes a wee small fella! You can clearly see that our play is frustrating him. On monday he had to drop virtually into a midfield role just to get the ball. Hang in there Conners!

But he won't do that playing with Trev or Nath!! Am I a nasty man for saying I wouldn't be overly botherd if Blake or Benjamin died?

kerryh Posted 1 September 2004 Posted 1 September 2004 Yes that's pure evil! Trev has so much passion on the pitch at the moment (when he plays) you can't knock him for trying! If it wasn't for him we'd be on just 3 points this season! Leave him alone.

Sorry to say this ladies and germs but the word is that Connolly will be out for at least 3 weeks! Torn calf muscle...bugger! I think that now is the time to start looking for someone on loan perhaps?

The cult figure he is turning out to be is angering me, because it seems that there is an increase in the amount of people that actually think and want him to play for us! He's so crap, he really is. I'd love him to make me eat my words but it's a safe bet I won't ever have to. Him and Blake are the worst strikers in this division and they are in the hunt for a trip to Milmoor, great stuff. Chomping at the bit to see them in action.

Cobbo Posted 1 September 2004 Posted 1 September 2004 If Blake plays I'm gonna jump off a multi story something or other. I'd stick Trev and Wright upfront for Rovrum after Monday's performances.

SilverFox Posted 1 September 2004 Author Posted 1 September 2004 Hope he regains his fitness for the next match 16421 It looks doubtful Ash!
Neil_LCFC Posted 1 September 2004 Posted 1 September 2004 Someone said Connoly can't play unless it's to his feet coz he's so small. . . well a certain Paul Dickov was smaller & hardly got a pass to his feet for 2 yrs & scored plenty !! most by latching onto flick on's from Deane/Scowcroft direct from the keeper. He's had plenty of chances in the games so far so no excuses it's time to put the ball in the net. Hitting the post with an open goal & missing a pen. wasn't down to the ball not being played to his feet but down to poor finishing ..end of. I really hope it comes good for Dublin & Connoly they should be able to score freely in this league but they need to pull there fingers out sharpish !!

I also remember a certain Dickov getting to 20 goals when we went up last season then not scoring again for the rest of the season (about 7 or 8 games)...lets not criticise the lad. If it is a confidence issue as well, then slagging off our own players doesn't help.
andy_croydz Posted 1 September 2004 Posted 1 September 2004 i bet wright will play next game then if connolly is out, you would see mark dancing about in his seat if wright plays ::
Mark Posted 1 September 2004 Posted 1 September 2004 i bet wright will play next game then if connolly is out, you would see mark dancing about in his seat if wright plays :: 16519 I wouldnt bet anything on it. You know it'll be Benjamin even though he was shocking in the reserves tonight, whereas Tommy played well. You just know who Micky will pick
