Bernieboots76 Posted 21 August 2016 Posted 21 August 2016 We played much better than we did last week and we had a lot more energy around the pitch. We had 8 shots in the match but did not have one on target until the 92 minute so yes it true we did not test the goalkeeper enough in the match but I don't think that was down to a lack of trying. We we had strong claims for penalties which on another day would have gone are way and there was no real space behind for Vardy to exploit but as I said we looked much better than last week so let's see what happens in the next game because I feel a lot more confident now than I did watching us against Hull.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 21 August 2016 Posted 21 August 2016 We did enough to win that game one nil. We didn't due to inept refereeing and failed to take chances too. We did the opposite in team selection last week and got caught out. I felt Albrighton didn't have the best game again but we always always play better from the start when he plays. Certainly do defensively. I'd take clean sheets every day thanks.
foxy boxing Posted 22 August 2016 Posted 22 August 2016 we can't just hit teams on the break all the time we need other options and other plays we can activate.it worked out well last season but teams expect us to do it pretty much all the time now, we need to mix it up keep teams guessing
