For people who were lucky enough to have put a bet on us to win the league last season, what have you spent your money on? Have you been able to do something you wanted to do for a long time? Or are you saving it etc?

 

Or even if you didn't have a bet, what things have changed for you because of last season?

 

My partner won a large chunk after putting a bet on us to win the league just before the first Newcastle game last season (She's not even from England, and only put the bet on because my family encouraged her). Anyway, we've spent it on going to two festivals, and a 2 week trip to Jordan - which we would have never been able to afford. Anyway, here's our picture in front of Petra!

 

Also it's nice that foreigners now know who we are - I'd had enough of people asking if we were near Liverpool or Manchester Utd!

I had a quid on at 2500\1 but did the boring thing and kept it in the bank towards a mortgage deposit.

Yes they did, the locals try to sell you horse/donkey rides where they take you the 'Indiana Jones way'

That's sensible! I would have done the same but my partner wanted to go to Jordan and she won the money haha
