FireFox Posted 15 September 2016 Posted 15 September 2016 Unless our proprieties are to advance in the League Cup, I don't think this is something we need discussing yet... not until the draw for the round of 16 of the CL (assuming we get there). We should comfortably get out of the group, hopefully finishing first. Our league form might suffer, it might not. Currently we're no worse than last year based on the fixture results. If we're still in a shot of a CL or Europa place, then keep at it. If we're only like 10th by December, then just focus on CL and FA Cup.
lcfcben76 Posted 15 September 2016 Posted 15 September 2016 No chance I would swap last nights for Liverpool, thing that always bothers me about English clubs is they get into the CL get knocked out in the group stage then say "oh well time to focus on the league and securing CL football next year" what's the point in that
