Last I heard the original was still for sale but that was a few of months ago I think it had quite a hefty price tag!  I think you could get a print though. Her website is http://dvaughangallery.com/home/4584355265  there's lots of other great peices too.

I thought I had seen that before, Cank Street gallery is in that link, they had it in the other week, original that is. Also had an abstract Jamie Vardy which IMO was better.

That's the thing with art it is all subjective to the person viewing it, what someone likes another person wouldn't look twice at.

That sand pit doesn't do anything for me, that's my view but others will stop and be amazed by it.

The Serge one on that link looks better than the Dons.

Yes that's her. I believe the Serge one if its still available is actually signed by the man himself...

Closeup the Ranieri one to me looks like it needed a scotia mould around the picture to close the edges, it's good don't get me wrong but the Serge one beats it for me.

A different take on portraits that works. She must get through a lot of magazines, the Claudio one should've been done with City programmes and match tickets. lol

Tell you what you buy a ton of sculpting sand and see what sculpture you can come up with

That's not what he's saying, read my posts, you may like it and call it art, others might not. Art can be anything that someone thinks is artistic but that doesn't mean we all have to agree.

What you're saying there can be related to any profession in life, I could say to you, go and buy some spanners and build a plane.

I take your point but any man using the creative skills of sculpture is always going to be and artist

you may not like it ,  but it meets every open definition of art known to man

if someone sculpts a plane from sand or metal with spanners that's also art , the key word is sculpture ....  the picture is not amazing but I stood and watched him craft it for an hour and I was mesmerised by the sculpting skills on show

sculpture is always art , it doesn't matter the materials used

manufactuing a plane is hardly sculpture ..it's building and as such lacks any artistic eliment , designing a plane could be considered art , manufacturing wouldn't.

I was using it as an example, yes he's artistic but it doesn't mean everyone has to agree and say it's brilliant, I could take you into a gallery and show you some paintings or proper bronze sculptures and you might look at them and say, 'yeah, what's the big deal with that', they could be £10k, 20k, 30k pieces of work.

I've seen originals myself that I struggle to see what the attraction is, then I've seen others that blow me away, all art is personal to the viewer, if you like it and think it's amazing that's fine but it doesn't mean every man and his dog has to have your view of it.
