From what I've read Čeferin is not a fan of Platini's Europe-wide tournament, so it's not a big surprise another new stadium/city wasn't really considered. Remember also Wembley made UEFA an absolute mint for the 2011 & 2013 CL finals so this is a chance to capitalise on the monies even more.

 

Not forgetting that I'm sure I saw a while ago Germany pulled out/supported our bid for the finals package in exchange for us supporting (or not competing against) their Euro 2024 bid.

UEFA don't think planes are being grounded in 2019 then

 

Almost becoming a home tournament for us this, what a great opportunity to try and win something if we can get a squad together ready to compete.

 

Far as I can see of the seven games we would play to get to the final five of them would be at Wembley.
