A friend asked me this question i dont know if u can or will help me but i know u are a huge fan of lcfc. I have 2 sets of unused tickets including stubs for the last Worthing ton cup final to ever be played at wembly between lcfc and tranmere rovers . Both sets are in mint condition and are both on presentation folders as they was a prize. I really dont know what to do with them or if they are worth anything . Maybe u would know ?

any idea of the value please ?

I don't know, but would you be interested in an exclusive day out at a non-league football ground and a promotional brochure with your name in it?

Not much - the game's been played!

Seriously, their's no definitive "value" for anything like this. It was only held approaching 17 years ago and the attendance was 74,313 so the tickets won't be especially rare although the flawless condition might go in their favour. But basically it depends how much someone wants them for  whatever reason.

A few quid to a poor man is a lot of money while £100 to a rich man is nothing. In the end your friend (presumably) owns them and will have to put a value on them or he could take them to a sports specialist auction house and hope they can use their hype to squeeze extra from potential purchasers.

It certainly happens with car number plates. Put 'em in an auction and they sometimes fetch crazy money. Try to sell em yourself and no-one wants to pay much at all.
