The worst thing about our predicament...

Recommended Posts

The missed opportunity, was hoping for a sustained period of top flight football. The dread is turning up watching similar stuff to what we endured 2004-2008 in the championship.

we appear to be on the verge of screwing up big time, suppose we'll laugh in a few years time if the worst does happen... as long as it's only short term damage.

Rubbish thread.

Many of the comments are borne out of frustration.

Those of us who have been City fans for long enough to know that it took a lot of time, effort and expense to get back into the Premiership, to witness us staying in by the skin of our teeth and to then pull off a miracle, led to joy, surprise and elation in equal measure.

To then go from THAT to THIS is almost heart breaking for real City fans. Those of us who were pretty much ever present when we were in League 1 or those of us who saw the rise and fall of Peter Taylor. To witness the strength of position we were in only 6/7 months ago, to this demise and embarrassing state of affairs is almost criminal.

I don't see anyone laughing at the situation or taking any glee from it. I see generally surprise, anger, upset or, in some cases, complete denial.

I cant believe how readily some are to accept relegation so easily (there are still 14 games left) or how the owners appear to have done a vanishing act.

Its sad.

Perhaps the Owners are conducting Manager interviews whilst counting the money to see if they managed to save enough from not buying "established premiership players" to be able to afford to fcuk Ranieri off from his current Contract and still have enough lrft in the bank to buy rubber clappers with.

i don't know how any fan could relish the situation we are in at the moment. it is one thing seeing it coming which for a few fans they obviously could but to actually want something bad to happen to the club i just don't believe any fan how ever much they dislike something would want the worst to happen to their club. no fan wants their club in turmoil
