That's why the argument that this is our level is bollocks. Easy for supporters of other clubs and pundits to say we should let Ranieri take us down because he won the league, safe in the knowledge that chances are no other club will ever be in a similar situation. I don't think he would have been sacked. Claudio said himself when he took the job that the owners had asked him if he would stay with the club even if it meant relegation, and that was one of the reasons he took the job in the first place because it showed he had the backing of the owners whatever the situation.
