Tommy Posted 7 October 2005 Posted 7 October 2005 Well Im off to Florida for two weeks today. Im off up to Manchester to stop over in t'hotel tonight, and then the 9hr flight at 7am tomorrow morning. Goodbye everyone, and I'll post when I get back. Oh, and plus, I'll be taking both City shirts over there to spread the word

Tommy Posted 24 October 2005 Author Posted 24 October 2005 Got back today after a right feck up up of a journey back. Our original plane was sent to pick up Hurrican evacuees, so we sit in the airport for 6 hours. Got on the plane and 2.30 hours into the flight back the cabin sparks an electrical fire, so the cabin crew go with the extinguishers to put it out, which means we do an emergency Halifax, Novo Scotia just NE of mainland Canada. They keep us on the plane for 2 more hours while they sort it out and then send us off to a hotel for the night. At 12:00 Canadian time we get sent to another hotel, anf finally at midnight we get on the plane home after theyve fitted a new part. Fantastic.
Tommy Posted 24 October 2005 Author Posted 24 October 2005 I did, but that took the shine off the edge of the holiday. Apparently the Hurricane hit a fair way below where we were staying, but Disney have closed all their parks down.
