The Quick Brown Fox Posted 2 May 2017 Posted 2 May 2017 There should be a live TV show on where there is a panel of refs who review all cards given and they have the ability to change the card (punishment). Now when a yellow is given there can be no action, why does this rule have to stay, it's as if it means the ref hasn't made a mistake. I don't like the idea of clubs being able to appeal yellow cards but they should definitely be looked into to make sure they are correct, changed to red or recinded where necessary. All dives should be looked at and bans given to those found guilty. 1 match where no foul was given and 3 match when a foul was given and 5 when a penalty was scores altering the result of the game.

Coutinho stayed on his feet last week yet if he would have gone down it would have been a penalty. Untill that is sorted we'll have this problem of diving. This as well. There's no way on the planet the authorities are bothered. It would be so easy to eradicate yet they don't. I understand why players do it and don't actually hold it against the players themselves. It's the authorities mainly at fault.
Finnegan Posted 2 May 2017 Posted 2 May 2017 I'd like to tackle the issue before retrospective action is really necessary. I would introduce a fifth official called a Hobbler. Their job will be to inflict, for real, any injury that is simulated during a game of football. Pretend to get hit in the face? On comes the Hobbler. Pretend you got your legs taken out in the box? On comes the Hobbler. They'd also be responsible for removing any hand used to wave an invisible card, or point a finger in the face of the fourth official. Hobblers would be recruited near exclusively from the elite and experienced ranks of Russian football fans, Spanish police officers and Polish centre halves. Honestly, the need for retrospective action would vanish overnight.
