lcfc true blue josh 18 Posted 10 October 2005 Posted 10 October 2005 does anyone know if the burnley match at the walkers is a quid for non-member under 16's?? Also do you have to go with an adult?
lush Posted 10 October 2005 Posted 10 October 2005 Adults can watch the burnley game for the equivalent of a season ticket price £13? A season tickets friend can watch the coventry game for less than a season ticket holder. The club "supports" its valued STH?????????????????????????

STH are @£11 all season where I sit, does it matter!
Guest Posted 10 October 2005 Posted 10 October 2005 A one off you pilchard! STH are @£11 all season where I sit, does it matter! It does matter, as you can choose to only go to the games which cost less than ST prices.
Ric Flair Posted 10 October 2005 Posted 10 October 2005 Who cares if there are the odd game that works out cheaper than a season ticket holder pays on average over the season? If this was a regular occurance and buying a match day ticket seperately each time worked out cheaper than the cost of a season ticket then fair enough but as that will never happen, does it really matter? I'd be willing to let members get tickets for £10-15 on the odd occasion if it meant there would be more fans in the ground. People moan for the sake of it. Having said that, ticket prices are far too expensive and something needs to be done about it but that could take a while considering the amount of money clubs pay their players.

I care that im paying more. Why should STH`s subidise "hang ons"? Will the club fund me the difference? The ONLY people that will get the admission prices down, are the fans.
Chrysalis Posted 11 October 2005 Posted 11 October 2005 Lush I disagree on the basis (a) ST's are over discounted at the moment (b) you wont draw in new fans if you are playing badly and have high prices © these prices dont exist for every game so on the whole season STH are still better off.
lush Posted 12 October 2005 Posted 12 October 2005 Lush I disagree on the basis (a) ST's are over discounted at the moment (b) you wont draw in new fans if you are playing badly and have high prices © these prices dont exist for every game so on the whole season STH are still better off. The fundamental part of being a STH is that you get a better deal than all other paying customers. V cov, that wont happen, and saying its only one game, what happens if we never win again, will it be one or 15 games, its the principle that counts here. Im more and more convinced this will be my last season as a season ticket holder, im disgusted with the treatment the club are showing me, disgusted. And Ric, now im red
Guest Posted 12 October 2005 Posted 12 October 2005 Oh grow up. If you're going to throw your toys out of the pram because of one game, so be it. But don't keep harping on about it, ad nauseum. You've made your point, you're not happy, but haven't you noticed you're in a minority of one?
lush Posted 12 October 2005 Posted 12 October 2005 Do a poll and ask the question: Should season ticket holders pay more than non season ticket holders? I thought society was designed to protect minorities?
Guest Posted 12 October 2005 Posted 12 October 2005 It's not every game that's a lower price though is it. Almost every ST holder I know doesn't begrudge the occasional cheap matchday prices if it increases numbers, gives the club more money, and hopefully improves atmosphere.
lush Posted 12 October 2005 Posted 12 October 2005 Ok, thats fine Lisa, so will the club rebate those who do mind? Maybe they could give all STH`s a free pint and packet of crisps and pie to make up the difference?
Guest Posted 12 October 2005 Posted 12 October 2005 Ok, thats fine Lisa, so will the club rebate those who do mind? Maybe they could give all STH`s a free pint and packet of crisps and pie to make up the difference? I suggest you write to Tim Davies personally if you feel so strongly.
lush Posted 12 October 2005 Posted 12 October 2005 I suggest you write to Tim Davies personally if you feel so strongly. Now at just a guess, do you think he`ll "approve", no, no nor me.
Guest Posted 12 October 2005 Posted 12 October 2005 Now at just a guess, do you think he`ll "approve", no, no nor me. So you haven't the backbone for a fight then.
Anish Posted 12 October 2005 Posted 12 October 2005 Ok, thats fine Lisa, so will the club rebate those who do mind? Maybe they could give all STH`s a free pint and packet of crisps and pie to make up the difference? The difference?? If the average cost per game for ST holders is £11 (£12 tops) and it costs £10 for the Cov game for the casual fan who has a ST friend, then the difference is only £2. Can you get a pint, a packet of crisps, and a pie for £2??
lush Posted 13 October 2005 Posted 13 October 2005 So you haven't the backbone for a fight then. Its not a fight Lisa if the opposition dont turn up. How about your fans forum buddies take up the thought of a STH? But answer the question, Should season ticket holders pay more than non season ticket holders? Have you the backbone Anish, weve been talking about the difference being £3. And yes, i CAN get all those 3 things for £3, and so can the club, EASY.
krishan Posted 13 October 2005 Posted 13 October 2005 the burnley game being for only a pound for under 16s do you have to go with an adult apll apreaciate dplease
King Kyle lcfc Posted 13 October 2005 Posted 13 October 2005 dont think so if your mummy thinks your big enough to attend the game on your own and its not past your bed time i wouldn't think you need an adult
Cal Posted 13 October 2005 Posted 13 October 2005 after reading the post nobody even answered the 1st question until krishan asked. This should get us a near enough full house even if it is full of kids

The average game costs a STH £11, and for the Cov game a non-STH can get in for £10. How the hell do you get £3 difference? You're talking bollocks again.

Anish, I've already given him a comparison of ticket prices based on a 'worst case scenario' of loads of cheap games v ST match prices, and he even disputes those facts. I have decided to give up arguing with him, he's got it into his head he's being ripped off, and he's the only ST I know who thinks that. I should imagine I will have to resign from the FCC if he finds out I've taken advantage of the £10 offer for the Cov game to treat my dad and niece. :o

I suggest if lush has this many issues he comes down the front of the Kop on tuesday and talks to you IN PERSON about it, im sure thats the better option rather than clogging up different threads in FoxesTalk with the same old arguement.

I agree, however halftime is only 15 minutes.
