For anyone else that plays striker (may do the same for other positions too), have you ever noticed that at the end of each match, it'll say your Standing tackle, slide tackle and interception rating has gone up from 29 to 30, 34 to 35 etc. yet never actually upgrade?

Yeh I've noticed that. Maybe a bug?

After doing some digging I've found out that your pro stops upgrading once he hits around the overall mark of 88, all because of this glitch. It doesn't happen to everyone though.

 

After drop in matches or club matches obviously certain stats increase depending on how good you play but in reality they don't actually improve. So basically your pro stops getting better. I've really noticed this since hitting the 88 overal mark.

 

My pro has played 100+ games and hasn't upgraded now for atleast about 25/30 games. I understand that maybe I won't get skill points anymore because of how high my pro is rated but my base stats do not increase after each game.

 

A quick Google search and I found that people are complaining to EA but surprise, surprise EA hasn't done anything about it.

Not surprising. EA won't put any resource into anything that isn't UT because that's where they'll make more money. A shame because that's something I have literally zero interest in as I don't fancy giving them yet more cash every year.
