Not sure whether to call it a day with running. My knees are cracking like mad and around the knee caps there feels like constant pressure after any sort of longer run. Maybe running on the treadmill is the answer but that just seems depressing! Any miracle cures?

Just did 4 nights in Kefalonia, stayed in a small hotel in Lourdas, what a lovely island. Locals and workers all really friendly. Wanted a chilled 4 days with plenty of Mythos and it was perfect, also went to Argostoli nearby a couple of times for some turtle watching and more beer and great food.

Been really enjoying the European athletics in Birmingham. What a superstar Amy Hunt is, hopefully she'll carry this form into the next Olympics.

Italy is the dream for me, mid 30s now and hoping to be there in our 50s. Have started learning basic Italian and will get more advanced lessons later on. Yes, went to Santa Maria Palace hotel back in 2023. No stomach issues at all and immaculate hotel. Not alot to do outside of the hotel itself mind but the hotels are massive resorts in themselves so you wouldn't get bored.
