I hope I'm wrong and we can build on what we've got but I think it is inevitable that our best players will get snaffled.

Maybe not. we dug our heels in over Mahrez and I think we would do the same over Vardy and N'Didi. Just make the price so ridiculous that only the very top clubs could afford them. Our owners would never have let Kante go so cheap without the clause and don't need to sell money wise anyway.

Everton? Sorry but we are a club with more ambition and a recent league win. We will finish above them this season. Embarrassing they are linked with vardy as I doubt he would even consider going there.

I think we have almost been in a state of shock since then... but by getting into the Champions League quarter finals and  finishing at least 7th in the league this year it  shows we are not slipping back to being a yoyo club..Give Claude Puel time and money  to consolidate us and we can challenge  near the top on a regular basis. OK we will never have the financial clout of Man. Utd/City or London clubs (with their 60 thousand stadiums) but we could be on a level way beyond the likes of Villa,Forest  or Derby. Mercenary, but sadly this is what football has  come to.
