This evenings game epitomizes Liverpool, the Premiership...and betting on football.

The stats were clear. Liverpool had countless shots on target and even more off target and any other week would have won 3/4-1 easily. Possibly more.

But when players are mysteriously misfiring, the whole thing can go to shite.

Some people would have lost a fortune on that game tonight.
