Marutimon Posted 27 May 2018 Posted 27 May 2018 (edited) Didn't find a thread, but thought to start it. So Leicester apparently has more players heading to the World Cup than Arsenal.. NIGERIA 3: Wilfried Ndidi (all but confirmed), Kelechi Iheanacho (all but confirmed), Ahmed Musa (very likely) ENGLAND 2: Jamie Vardy (confirmed), Harry Macquire (confirmed) PORTUGAL 2: Adrien Silva (confirmed), Ricardo Pereira (confirmed) DENMARK 1: Kasper Schmeichel (confirmed) TUNISIA 1: Yohann Benalouane (likely) JAPAN 1: Shinji Okazaki (possible) The obvious stand outs and likely starters being: Jamie Vardy, Kelechi Iheanacho, Wilfried Ndidi and Kasper Schmeichel. Harry's not a likely starter?

Vardy won't start
Marutimon Posted 27 May 2018 Author Posted 27 May 2018 A probable starter, but not a stand out player. I guess Vardy though isn't certain of starting given Kane... Macquire did start all the games with three at the back, but that's relatively new development.
SouthStandUpperTier Posted 27 May 2018 Posted 27 May 2018 Vardy will be lucky to get on for 10-15 minutes a game. If they are behind he might get 20-25 minutes. If they win their first 2 group games he might get to start the last one against Belgium. Don't hate on me, it's just how I see Southgate playing it.
Fox92 Posted 27 May 2018 Posted 27 May 2018 The obsession with one up front is strange. We've got two good strikers - both of which scored at least 20 goals for their clubs this season - start them both together. 1
