Not just to be aware of the miriad, sometimes complex rules but also the arseholes in the crowd who'll say nothing to your face and do a lot of shouting somewhere else. I met one at Wyggeston school as a kid. Told the headmaster I stole some pork pies when I hated the damn things. Headmaster never would identify him but my mates did. This was picked up by Michael Bamburger a reporter with Sports Illustrated. But get this he said nothing at the time, but it was playing on his mind all night, so took advice from his editor who told him to grass her up. What a fvcking snake in the grass!
