Yes they would. And goodwill and brand value added and eventual debts deducted.... so the value would be pretty high.... :) Its incredible really going from administration - League One to this. Who would have dreamt of it?

Champion's League money funded an huge increase in transfer expenditure and wages. We don't have enough income to sustain being so lavish, we'll be alright this season due to Mahrez' transfer fee but we're going to have to be increasingly austere over the coming years. I think one of Puel's redeeming features is that he's willing to promote younger players so obviously spend less - with infrastructure investment coming in the forms of expansion and a new training ground (Puel has a experience of both at Lille and Nice) we need to be carefully managed which we're taking steps towards. Our wages/turnover ratio will be creeping over 50% which is a concern considering the next tv deal is worth less than the current one.

The age of profile of the current squad is a bit troubling but we're looking to address it with recent signings, essentially we have a minimal amount of players in their 'primes', our squad is mostly 21 and under or 30 or over so we're relying on the young players to mature so we don't have to invest in the playing squad so much when we'll be spending £100+ off the pitch over the next couple of seasons.

Lots of good sense here.

I think for a lot of clubs, the operating assumption has been that TV revenue in real terms will only ever increase in the coming decades - but this may not be so.

Unless you are a club doped by a foreign state / suggardaddy owner, you need to cut your cloth accordingly.

It's already becoming difficult to sign good mid-career players without parting with ridiculous amounts of cash.

For clubs like our own, taking a bet on youth is probably a better - and more financially sustainable bet - than doing for example what Everton did last year in terms of signing 'proven' PL players at outrageous cost.

That's why we are so incredibly lucky to have these owners. I remember the Leicester of Martin George and the rest. He used to walk pre-match from the boxes at the Filbert St end past us in the Wing Stand and every time it used to be "get your wallet out". All he had was loose change and that had fallen through the lining in his pocket :) We have never had this level backing before. Vishai came in and turned the £103M debt into equity, bought the ground back for £35M in retrospect got virtually all the decisions right up to winning the league (ex Sven) Credit to Milan Mandaric for finding them. They have totally supported the club, embraced the city with generous donations to the hospital etc. They now have an asset worth over £500M, we are competing at a level we hardly have ever done before and we know they are not going to walk away or throw in the towel or set to some US franchise owners. We now out-compete our traditional rivals and I don't rule out more success in the coming seasons. Best time in history to be a Foxes fan..

Have to agree with all of the above it has been incredible since the owners took over. I never thought we would ever surpass the Martin O’Neil achievements, but we have become in my opinion the best of the rest excluding the normal top six.

when the owners first bought us I herd someone on the radio talking about them basically saying how lucky we were to have them, and they have big plans for us to compete at the top level.

They must be the best owners in the league.
